I've been into blockchain activities for long, and I try as much as I can to keep myself updated with current issues on blockchain related topics, this has help a lot as most terms and register used in the crypto world are not new but much familiar.
Sometimes experience has a lot to do with being successful in some particular field of study be it financial sectors or normal regular business venture, we can easily figure out some difference between an expert and a novice in any applicable field of expertise, this kinda implies for you to do exceptionally good in any particular field your experience and exposure in such field really matter it could be experience base on research of learnt from practical. What really matters most is having basic idea about what you're venturing into.
In conclusion I would summarize by saying why most new crypto enthusiast fall victim of being scammed or running into dubious platform is lack of basic information and knowledge on how blockchain/crypto project works, making adequate research and study will reduce the risk of loosing capital and investments in any project.
Therefore to be successful in the crypto world, learning some basic principles on how the technology operates really count.
As per my experience most of the new crypto currency projects turned out to be a scam or dumped by their owners. Learning in the cryptoworld isn't that easy there are so many things to be taken into consideration.

Crypto network is a case study on it own which can't be exhausted, the point is knowing some basic principles on the platform will help greatly, when I started in the crypto world I was scammed over and over but with time and more research on what to invest on, I minimized the risk of loosing my capital to scammers.
