Except that selling is not bad , but sell at the right time...

when the price is high, study chart patterns and sell rather than holding it... greed to be reduced and buying also at very high price high levels is not recoomended, be patient and wait for a market correction.

Meanhile, get to understand that project, its fundamentals, why its price is moving up... be a more well versed investor who can be balanced immune from FOMO and FUD...
