Every successful business experiences periods when everything gets extremely busy, customers are trooping in and out, people are regularly buying, but there are also periods when everything seem to be down, as if the customers have just disappeared into thin air. I don’t think any business can avoid these periods and those periods can be really annoying because they just make you feel extremely jobless. I found out that during those periods when business seem to be slow, there are things that could be done, would you like to know what could be done when business is slow, then read along friends.

One thing that could be done during such periods, is to keep in touch with your customers, customers can easily get ignored when business seem to experience a busy time, but those periods of little slow down is when you can check up on customers, it could just be a little reminder to let them remember you and you might also find out from them, if there is something they like you to improve on.
Re-arranging our office space is one thing we might totally ignore by the time things get really busy, so when there is a little slow down, it is the right time to re-arrange your desk, dispose unused papers, clear off your desk and do a proper filing, this is one thing you will be glad you did by the time business gets busy again.
Have you been just thinking from your own time? It is time to refresh your brain and learn from the experience as well as the expertise of others. Meet with other business experts, get good partnership deals, get good mentoring opportunities and also hang out with colleagues with similar business interest.
When things get really busy, you have to deprive yourself of certain opportunities and this is just the right time to take some good time off, let the staff handle the office business while you take care of yourself and spend time off work a little bit.
When things are not too busy is also a good time to spend some time with your staff, get to know their opinion about certain business issues, have them share their ideas with you and it is time to loosen up a little bit with them.
It is time for you to read books, have you been too busy to read, then it is time to pick up a good business book, a good magazine, a good novel and read, you know that machine you purchased and you did not read through the instruction manual, this free time is a good time to read through it.
