In May 2020, Mr. George Floyd was assassinated by a Minneapolis police officer in the United States of North America. As George Floyd was a Afro-American person, people began to stand in solidarity and the #blacklivesmatter who had been born in 2013 was reactivated.

In the United States, the racial issue is quite complicated, I don't understand it much, but the police officer who killed George Floyd, being Caucasian, people began to protest under the banner of #blacklivesmatter, the issue became racial and police abuse, many protests have been peaceful and others have gotten out of control and have generated very violent acts, it is not my intention to tell you what to say or what side to support, the #blacklivesmatter is a very complicated topic, surely books and films will be written about this, Maybe in the future I will deal with this topic in more depth, but not today, today I come to talk to you about the #blacklivesmatter approach on social networks.

I am quite surprised how the CEO of the most important social networks have expressed their support for this movement, without remorse the most important social networks in the world have proclaimed themselves in favor of #blacklivesmatter, which seems very good to me because It is a movement that seeks social equality. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, youtube, all the giants have demonstrated and almost all the CEO of these giants too.

Many people have taken to the streets to protest, one of their slogans is "I can't breathe" phrase used by George Floyd several times before finally dying from mechanical suffocation, but not everyone takes to the streets, social networks have turned into a site of protests, people can go and express their support for the #blacklivesmatter movement.

Do you think Steemit should have an official image supporting #blacklivesmatter as well as the other big social networks?

I was searching for some official image in Steemit about #blacklivesmatter and at least I didn't get it, if you did I would appreciate it if you left it in the comments.

Hello, it's true that many of our favorite networks have expressed themselves before regrettable fact, I think it would not be convenient for them not to do it either, besides that through that would generate more controversy among users and the fact that their platforms are used.

Thanks for reading, that's right my friend the networks are in favor of people

Welcome. And with such a controversial topic.
This has been very strong for the world, I think a lot of problems will come from this event, unfortunately. The world is pretty shaken up...
