Money saved is Money Earned

This is one of the saying that I heard from my parent's thousands of times and I never paid more attention to it till the time I did not start earning money. I was hardly saving any money from my pocket money but my mother used to encourage me to do this but it never happened. Out thought process changes with time and maturity and I have seen it happening with me. Like I shared that I am one of the people who did not believe in saving money and I was like- Money is to spend not to keep but now I think completely different. I am now more focused on saving money and first I take out the saving from my income and then use the remaining funds to manage my expenses this is one of the strategies I have been following for the last 5 years.

I am not a big fan of warren Buffet but I like his ideology toward investment he says that- "If we can not keep our money to work then we will have to work until our death" and I truly believe in this. We should not depend on a single income and at least during the time of pandemic we have learned it better. I save money every month and I invest it on various things in crypto and even on gold. I know that bitcoin or any crypto can give better returns but I am a girl and being a girl I can not control my love for gold. I have invested a lot in gold and even though I am in profit I am emotional with my gold and this is why I am not selling it at all.

I am a long-term investor in gold and same I am trying to follow up with crypto as well. I have invested in gold since 2010 and all that I have purchased so far is still with me. I was not earning at that time and my parents were buying it for me and gave it to me after my marriage now I am investing in gold and I keep on accumulating all my gold. I can't answer the question that when I will sell this because honestly, I don't want to sell this, and hopefully by the time I decide to sell, it will bring such a great value in return.

I am a disciplined investor and whatever I start for the investment, I make sure to do it for long without any miss and even I do proper work to see if my current saving is good enough to manage it. I follow it across all my investments and will continue to do this because I don't want to start something in hurry and later due to funds shortage I have to close it and this is not good at all. I believe whatever I saved is my earnings and if I invest it in the right place then it will come back with even bigger value and crypto is surely one of the areas where I invest the majority of my saving.
