Tomorrow the ETH CME futures will be available, and with that a lot of new money will enter the market. For your reference, when BTC CME futures were introduced it was the peak of the last bull market. You know what happened after the peak, a heavy bull market kicked in and all the prices tanked heavily.
Most of the cryptos tanked between 80%-90% and all the profits vanished in weeks.
So, what will happen with Ethereum this time?
Which are the differences compared to 2017?
Well, last time we were at the peak of an incredible bull run. This time, we don't know where we are but it all indicates that we're just at the beginning. Only time will tell, but in my opinion the timing is better now than in 2017.
Another difference is that now we have a lot of institutional attention, in fact they are buying more Bitcoin than what is being mined each day.
Let's take a look at what Grayscale is doing:
Grayscale is buying a lot of Ethereum. They are not just Buying Bitcoin, and I can imagine that it is not the only institution doing so. A lot of them like to play under the radar, they want to buy as cheap as possible.
In fact, some institutions like to create FUD while are buying. Don't believe everything you read. They are really good playing with the masses. Do your own research.
I'm not going to sell my preciated ETH at 100$ more than the previous ATH. That's the worst moment to sell them, I'm HODLing.

I don't understand much of the matter but what I do understand is that we must keep our precious cryptocurrencies saved.I am always guided by those who have more experience and this time I think it is very prudent to follow what you recommend, to do HOLD.
Clearly when these companies move with a low profile buying large amounts of this currency, That indicates in my understanding that the price will surely skyrocket.So it is important to take advantage of these opportunities, to be smart to invest.

Agreed, its time to Hold, but at the same time it is my opinion (no financial advice of any sort) that its the right time to buy VALUE ADDING CRYPTOS !! (Emphasis on VALUE ADDING), such as Stellar Lumens (connect banks and individuals), ATOM (scaling and interoperating beteewn cryptos), REN (for merging multichain platofrms and block chains) and even Orchid! (To give more control over bandwidth of internet) amongst others.
Regardin specifically on BTC and ETH, they still have much to give including but limited too, hedging inflation and protecting assests value.

I think this year, ETH is going to sky rocket. I am personally predicting $5000 by the end of this year. I will advice you not sell now rather stake it to earn more
