The role and important of technology in world growth is a topic that cannot totally be ruled out of discussion. Everyday, everywhere, the product of technology is been felt, touch and used by people all over the world today. We interact with technology expecting it interacts back to us and vice visa. Most people think technology has made life better while other think otherwise, all this misconceptions usually fill the thoughts of many but the fact is that without technology the world wouldn't be where it is today.

Technology involves an organise way of doing things, through the use of scientific methods, making it easier to communicate. The communication is usually between two or more persons with some kind of machines. There is no definite definition of technology as it cut across every works of life, e.g Engineering, development, communication, modeling, innovation, etc.

Technology and population

As I pondered on this topic, a lots of questions ran through my mind, firstly what can increase population? How has technology increased population? Technology has really affected most importantly the health care sector. Thoughts took me back in time when was a torn on the flesh of most women. Where we had nothing like antenatal care, to help check the condition of the baby which led to the lose of many unborn children. Furthermore, most women never even conceive due to health issues but today, thanks to technology, machines are available to scan, diagnose and suggest a positive remedy to the problem.
Operations can now be carried out by educated doctors who are trained. Paraventure, the baby needs to come before the 9 months period, it can be preserved and stored to develop before been exposed to the environment, this has worked effectively and has helped to preserve the life of the babies.

Today, we are opportune to have something like, artificial insemination, where the sperm of a man can be collected and inserted directly into the woman, so she can conceive and bear forth children. All this contribute to the increase in population.

Aging drugs have been introduced to help the elderly live alittle bit longer. Certain sickness that could have killed instantly can now be managed through the use of drugs aleast for a while. This is how the world has experienced an increase in population. Child bearing has been made very easy hence population rise.

How large populations make technology indispensable

This same population increase has made technology indispensable as we cannot do without it. Man can no longer do without technology, huge investment are been made to make life better through technology. It has succeeded in affecting every bit of human endeavor, communication is one very important example. Imagine telephone and the telecommunications companies halts their activities today, I guess the world would be a dead place. I can recall when I lost my phone, I was not myself, it seems like am no longer in the world, can you imagine the feeling?
Computers, ipads, keeps greeting better, faster and more durable. What I mean is that technology is been improved on everyday to suit man's requirements. Come to think of it, if not technology how would we even have taught about @steemit. A decade ago, who had an idea about cryptocurrency?, today at least 30 percents has heard about cryptocurrency.

The world is changing fast and technology isn't left behind, in fact technology had gone ahead of man. Electricity is another good example, this has eaten deep into the comfort of humans, we need light at every point in life. For you to be comfortable at home, electricity is important. For cities having steady power supply, if the power is interrupted, the damage that will be caused might be huge.

I will conclude by saying, technology is a way of life, take technology out of man and man is dead.
