Negative impact on the personality of some people due to comparisons made in social networks

We should not generalize, perhaps not all people are influenced by the fashion patterns dictated by social networks, however what I can say is that a large number of people are being negatively influenced by social networks, therefore the self-esteem of these people end up suffering the consequences of such comparisons made by social networks.

Many times we see what other people publish, and perhaps the person who sees what is published feels like wanting to imitate what he sees, an example of this I see in my country (Venezuela), people migrate because of the economic situation and the impossibility of living with dignity, however there is something more notorious that drives for example migration to the United States of America, and it is the fact that people who are here in Venezuela spend their time looking at other people's statuses on whatsapp and see that Venezuelans who are in the United States have new cars from the dealership, travel to the keys in Florida, travel to New York, wear brand name clothes, and all this and the way they see it is influential in generating an immense desire to go to the United States.

It is not that desiring an ostentatious life is bad, what is bad is to want to desire a lifestyle when we do not really know that people who lead that lifestyle in the United States owe everything, they owe the new car, they live to work because most of the things they have they owe. So people who go driven by what they see in social networks without doing a little research on the origin of that lifestyle, get frustrated once they get there because in the end they realize that what they see in social networks can be obtained but at a very expensive price, which is living to work because the system there drives to spending and debt, and for that you have to live to work and spend.

My conclusion about this topic is that we should not be influenced by everything we see in social networks, because the true realities are often hidden behind a photo or a video enjoying but without knowing the background of many of the things we see, if we want to migrate it is important that we do it for our own individual needs, and not for what we see of the lifestyle of other people that we see in the day to day in social networks.
