Coinbase is a San Francisco based digital currency exchange and it is one of the oldest exchanges out there. It was founded by Brian Armstrong and Fred Ehrsam in June 2012. Since then Coinbase has expanded exponentially and it is now available in 190 countries at the time of writing this. Coinbase has over 15 million customers and that number is expected to grow with time.

Coinbase is not the biggest exchange out there, but a listing on this exchange is cherished by every crypto project. We have seen that every crypto asset that gets listed on Coinbase pumps bery hard. Algorand is a recent example of that. Of course, this has not happened every time as we saw with XRP, BAT, and ZCash but coins do surge most of the time.
What Makes Coinbase Listing So Special!
In my opinion, there are a number of reasons that contribute to this factor. I am going to list them one by one:
1. Visibility
Coinbase is available in 190 countries which means that people from almost all countries can buy and sell crypto through Coinbase. Moreover, it has over 15 million active users and that is a huge user base in a small world of crypto.
2. Coinbase Doesn't List Every Other Altcoin
Coinbase follows a strict policy when it comes to listing coins on their exchange. Unlike many other popular crypto exchanges that list hundreds of coins, Coinbase only lists reputed coins with a proven track record and that makes listings special.
3. Respect Among Users
Coinbase has earned the trust and respect of the users by providing quality services over the years. It is a go-to exchange for most crypto users. Being one of the oldest exchanges has also worked in favor of Coinbase.
4. Reputed Investors
Coinbase has received many investments over the years and it continues to attract investments. Coinbase is backed by some reputed US companies which points out its capabilities raising the standard of Coinbase among people.
Most of the new users end up buying their first crypto from Coinbase. Coinbase is a place to buy and sell but for trading purposes, they also have Coinbase Pro, formerly known as GDAX. People still consider an investment safe heaven, if that particular project is listed on Coinbase.
This is not financial advice. These are personal thoughts and they are meant for information purposes only.DYOR before investing.
Coinbase is special because it holds the largest number of real whales and has some real volumes , unlike other fake volume 'big' exchanges. Coinbase listing is actually overhyped in my opinion

It doesn't have much volume. Binance has much more volume than Coinbase because Coinbase is for buying and selling crypto.
They have Coinbase Pro for trading.

all the factors you name make coinbase attractive, I particularly see the website very friendly and the experience of sailing on it is very pleasant I think that is an important factor to take into account, and that It attracts many users and keeps the ones it already has.

Coinbase is good for buying and selling, not trading.
You can use Coinbase Pro for that nut I would recommend Binance for trading purposes.
