China has given details of its next major lunar mission, the Chang'e 8 mission, which will be a significant development 8 in is lunar expected exploration to and be advancement launched of in advanced 2028 space and technologies. will

Chang'e be sent to the South Pole of the moon which is believed to have ice deposits and other unknown resources. Nevertheless, this mission goes beyond the scope of data acquisition in order to experiment with innovative technologies that may become the new norms in space exploration.

This mission is also significant because it will involve the demonstration of technologies for in-situ resource utilization Other technologies that Chang'e 8 intends to demonstrate include the use of 3D printing to fabricate structures from lunar regolith which is the material that forms the surface of the moon, this means China is testing the initial process of constructing structures on the moon instead of having to transport large quantities of building materials from earth.

This advancement would become a groundbreaking leap in the development of self-sustaining lunar colonies, which would allow humanity to reside on the moon for more time and eventually act as a stepping stone for expanding the reach of humanity to Mars.

The lander is expected to be a state-of-the-art technology marvel as it will include cameras and telescopes along with a seismometer whereas a crane will also be included in the equipment to make space useful loads and move them on to the surface of the moon. The module together with this mission would also include a six wheeled Rover which is similar to the well known Yutu that undertook past missions.

This sizing will also possess numerous technologies including a lunar penetrator and infrared spectrometer as well as tools for analysis and components storage and likely even a human like element on the team would be a welcome surprise. Thus this would be first time China would commence a mission to the moon featuring humanoid robots.

Discussions started when a picture was shared on popular Chinese social media where the mission's chief engineer presented his vision of the project showing a four wheeled ship with a humanoid top of the body section while Chang’e 8e upholds this mission. China is actively looking into the future with great resolve through investment into humanoid robots and electric technology.

In the recent past the country revealed several million dollar investments for the development and manufacturing of humanoid robots not later than 2027 as the country aims to dominate the global market for these new devices, among the recent examples are robots such as Guanghua and Go2 that have already been used in various events including the Hangzhou Marathon. These robots were used to help the human beings in monitoring incidents such as fires, the robots played music and did acrobatics, also, the Guanghua humanoid developed by the Beijing humanoid robot innovation center is remarkable since it has 3D vision sensors and the most advanced motion control technology by which the robot moves smoothly and evenly and solves the various challenges that are set in front of it.

Thus, China proves its intent to become the leader in the further development of the space exploration, the application of new technologies, the possible cooperation with humanoid robots and the concepts of international lunar station place the country in the key position of the modern space race. This mission is not only about the moon, but what comes next is the beginning of a new era where space exploration is connected with our technological existence and our visions of expansion to other planets, it is possible to observe the construction of the future for mankind on the lunar surface.
