IMPORTANCE OF THE INDUCTION PROCESS FOR NEW EMPLOYEES

The efficiency and performance of a work team will depend on each of its members and how they perform the work, since it has to be on par with the production process, which is why the induction is responsible for the initial process, providing the new worker with basic information that allows them to quickly integrate into the work team. This means to include the values of the organization, mission, vision, objectives and goals, policies and procedures, work schedules, rest days, among others, and everything that is considered necessary for the new worker to know.

Induction is part of the training program established by the organization, but with different rulings ("start is start"), hence its importance. Its application must be before starting the activity for which the worker has been hired.

This action brings many benefits such as: minimizes performance costs in the adaptation process, facilitates integration, low personnel turnover, saves time for leaders and colleagues (clearing doubts during the work action), reduces stress and anxiety for the new members of the work team.

It is important to emphasize that at present the vast majority of companies, whether micro, small or medium-sized, have not established this action as a priority, but have joined it to the training process, forming part of another topic of the same, which will be treated in a schedule after the start of the work. This leads to increased stress and anxiety among the new recruits.

Of course, within the training they will receive a set of didactic activities, oriented to expand the knowledge, skills and aptitudes, focused on the productive process of the organization.

Of course, this is aimed at having a better performance in their current and future positions, adapting to the changing demands of the environment, but for workers with seniority.

It cannot be denied that the need for training arises when there are differences between what a person should know to perform a task, and what he/she really knows. That is why induction should be included in the continuous training program, but with marked application in time, space and type of worker, since it seeks to clarify and update the new entrants, capturing the image and future projection of the organization.

In summary, applying the induction, in the precise time, to the new workers, guarantees the continuity of the productive process at low costs.

Until a new opportunity, I bid you farewell @yonglerosales.

The fact that a company can provide its employees with an initiation process is a good guarantor that employees can be oriented to their future activities to their workers, especially that it is an initiation for new entrants.

Greetings and thank you for providing us with this valuable input.

Hello @yonglerosales
I think that the induction beyond the training process of the new worker serves to unify the criteria. Since many people think they do not know how to do a certain type of work in a certain way, and perhaps it is not the right one according to the philosophy of the company.
