The 70s called—and Dua Lipa answered.
The 'Sweetest Pie' singer recently made a sartorial callback to the groovy decade in an outfit she wore and posted to Instagram.
Lipa stepped out in a funky House of Sunny satin halter top emblazoned with a swirling heart pattern in bright white, lime green, cobalt blue, and dark brown hues.

She tucked the glossy top into a pair of frayed, high-waisted denim shorts from Re/Done, which she had cinched with a black belt.
Ever the maximalist, Lipa went all out with her accessories. She wore jewellery by New York–based designer Shana Cave, including a chunky peridot-and-garnet necklace and various flower-shaped rings, as well as a gold wristwatch by Cartier.
Finally, she topped the look off with a silver metallic iteration of the Le Cagole shoulder bag by Balenciaga.
Lipa shared photos of her outfit in an Instagram carousel that included snaps of her and her younger brother, Gjin Lipa. She wrote in the caption: 'Back on tour with my trusty sidekickkk. Montreal see you tonight!!!! [sic].'

Lipa's inimitable street style is known for embracing fun, vibrancy, and bold colours.
In another recent outfit she posted on Instagram, for example, she again referenced the 70s, this time in a sparkling deep-purple corseted minidress adorned with sequins and draped with gauzy fabric.
The look came with a matching sequinned choker, and she even coordinated her glam and accessories to fit the violet theme.
Aptly, she styled the statement piece with nude fishnet tights.
The singer talked about expressing herself through fashion in a 2018 interview with Refinery29.
'It's an extension of who I am. And even though I'm sometimes more extravagant than others, it's how I express myself,' she said.
'You're allowed to be whatever you choose to be and whatever you want to put out into the world. And I don't think anybody's really allowed to tell you [what you] can and can't wear.'
Dua Lipa leaves the Balenciaga Haute Couture show in Paris, July 2022The singer made her Paris Haute Couture Week runway debut at the star-studded Balenciaga show, hitting the runway alongside Kim Kardashian, Nicole Kidman and Bella Hadid. But it's her post-show off-duty model look we're loving the most: Dua Lipa looked super sleek in a head-to-toe black Balenciaga look, of leather boots-slash-trousers, a tank, opera gloves and oversized sunglasses.
