The Importance Trees to Human beings

Trees are one of the most important sources that can support the needs of the planet Earth and the whole humanity. They are not only part of nature; trees support life within Earth in a number of ways. Tree is therefore capable of enhancing more benefits which include, climate control, purification of air, water storage, wildlife habitat and economic benefits. Respiratory diseases and the greenhouse effect due to excess heat will be noted as envisaged climatic change aspects attributed to trees’ absence.

  1. Climate Regulation

They have significance use when it comes to moderation of climate because they absorb carbon dioxide which is a green house gases. Carbon dioxide is taken from the atmosphere through photosynthesis and transformed into oxygen through tree activities thereby assisting in managing the climate change realities. An adult tree can fix about 22 kilogram of CO₂ per annum and, for this reason, forests acts as God’s breathing apparatuses of the earth reducing accumulation of CO₂ that causes global warming and resultant environmental drastic changes.

  1. Improved Air Quality

Those trees can also play a role of air deodorizers. They remove gases like nitrogen oxides, ammonia, sulfur dioxide and aerosols from the air, which hugely enhance air quality. Vegetation transverse dust on leaves and bark hence reduce pollutants in urban areas. This oxygen is applied to breathe by people and animals and so there is need of trees in the ecosystem..

  1. Water Conservation

Trees are extremely important in water cycle. Very often they extend many thick roots to the ground and these roots easily suck and retain water thus checking erosion of ground water. Together with decreasing flooding risks and being able to support native bodies of water, trees slow down the motion of rainwater. Forested area are very important in stabilizing river, lakes and groundwater which are important in providing water to people and irrigation.

  1. Habitat and Biodiversity

Trees offer habitats protection, foods and nesting places to so many other species which in turn increases the species’ diversity. Forests incorporate some of the most species rich habitats in the world, including trees, wildlife, insects and microbes. This rich diversity contributes to maintaining correct ecological niches, and that makes forests an essential body for many species’ existence and a healthy world.

  1. Economic Value

Economically, trees provide products, for instance, the timber and fruits, and also in relation to medicine. Timber industries depend on sustainable forest management practice as a source of supply of timber for construction, paper, furniture and other uses. In the same way, travelling to forests for tourist purpose also provides employment and educates the people on the amount of development that is going on with the aim of conserving the environment.

Conclusion

Thus, conclusion may be made: trees are essential for maintaining life support system on our planet. Not only do they offer the advantage of meeting the ecological and economical needs, but they also help FILE: Economical Needs.fullfill the human necessities. Most people still underestimate the role of trees which help to decrease air and water pollution, oppose climate change, support different types of wildlife, and contribute to the economy. Hence, it call for the conservation and afforestation at all costs to maintain the environment in readiness for generations to come.
