The meaning of birds in my life

Birds are flying creatures, so they deftly hide from human eyes in the crowns of trees, under the roofs of houses and in all kinds of secret places. Our attention to birds is not always harmless. How many times have you seen how mischievous boys shoot at birds with a slingshot or throw stones. A wounded bird cannot survive in the world around it. On earth, countless enemies and dangers lie in wait for her. Even yard cats hunt a bird walking on the lawn. And they will definitely be caught if she is injured or sick.

Sometimes it seems to us that it is quite possible to do without birds. True, as soon as we begin to study natural history and zoology, we are surprised to understand the importance of birds in nature. Flying away to warm lands, birds always return to their native places. On their wings, they bring people the warmth of spring and the birth of a new life. Throughout the hot summer and chilly autumn, the birds dominate their native spaces, so that, flying away for the winter, leave us with a rich harvest.

There are patriotic birds who never leave their native land. They bravely survive the winter cold, hiding in old hollows or nests. We must help these birds to survive. Feeders hung along tree trunks in city yards and parks will be a good support. Any passer-by will be able to replenish the bird table with a handful of cereals or seeds.

And do not forget, friends, that without the birdsong, our life would become much sadder and more ordinary. Nothing pleases the human ear like the flooded trill of a ringing bird.
