Tamale Metropolis is the administrative capital of Northern Region. I have been living and working here since 2011. Today was weekends so I stayed home to wash, clean and keep the place tidy. I started with the laundry
After that it was time to clean
After cleaning I fixed breakfast
It was time to visit the groceries. I got prepared and mounted my Boxer motor bike to the market
This is the commonest means of transportation in Northern Ghana but in case one can’t afford any, there are always commercial tricycles ready to pick anyone at a fee of less than a cent.
In those days it was uncommon to see high rising structures in Tamale at best one could see things like this for an average household
But this has changed in just a decade. We now have high rising structures scattered around the Metropolis as these:

After shopping I was about the leave and spotted this maize seller. Roasted maize is my best. It is still a delicacy for now because the rainy season has just set its foot in
I bought a piece and have since returned home. This was how I spent my Saturday in Tamale metropolis.
Thanks for your attention.
