Greetings dear community around the world, I am pleased to share with you this creative work of paper, for the weekly contest of @tasonya, my best regards to all participants. Today I bring you a cute pendant of suns and stars .
The materials:
- Paper (pink blue and green)
- Cardboard
- Pencil
- Glue
- Nylon thread
- Scissors and hole punch.
Origami Star
Step 1:
I cut out 5 paper rectangles measuring 7 x 15 centimeters, or the size of a bill, for each star. I made a fold in each corner forming a triangle at the tip, then I folded in half, fold the smooth half and marked, where the central mark was left, the tip was, turning the fold again in the opposite direction on both corners and formed a triangle in tip. I folded over the same fold again to form a peak, I rolled the remaining part to the side I started from. Here below are the images.
After the first three folds turn
Observe the each fold in green, the five points in pink and the star finished in blue

After assembling the stars, I drilled a hole for each one at one end and tied a piece of nylon, as seen in the image above (blue star).
The suns
Step 3:
I cut out thin strips of paper in the colors of the stars, then I was folding them into a fan shape, two for each piece.
Step 4:
I rolled the piece of cardboard into a thin cylinder, added a little glue to fix it, and made two holes in it with the hole punch.
Then I tied a piece of nylon rope to it to form the top handle.
Step 5
I proceeded to form one by one the suns that I put the stars on each string.
Step 6:
Decorate the support with several green suns and attach a string with suns on each side. Decorate them with plastic beads in the center.
Ready, it was beautiful and you can place it on any surface to decorate. Thank you. I want to invite @valentina2021 @susej2013 @julievk
