Another great and exciting new day again. As always stay safe as we continue to keep our optimism high and hope for positive news very soon. As expected, we are here again with another fun continuation of my “what should we expect from the top teams next season” series. Today, we will be looking at Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham and what we should expect from them next season. In my previous posts, I’ve shared my opinion about the other top 6 teams… so if you haven’t seen them, you can visit the posts and check them out.
Spurs much like Arsenal have been faced with a lot of ups and downs this season but have managed to come out from the difficult situation they were earlier in the season, all thanks to Jose Mourinho. However, things are not rosy for Spurs even with Jose Mourinho as the manager as they are still yet to climb back to the top they occupied for over 4 seasons in a row. Nonetheless, they are not doing pretty badly even though some of their games under Mourinho haven’t been anything to write home about, they are still very much in the top 4 race and are in fact one of the strong candidates for the top 4 this season.
With the excitement that hovered the whole premier league when the news that Jose Mourinho was coming back to the premier league to manage Spurs, the attention, and the uncertainties that surround Jose Mourinho and teams, a lot of talking points have be raised concerning what we should expect from Jose Mourinho and his Spurs side next season…
For me, I expect a lot more excitement in the premier league courtesy of Jose Mourinho and the entertainment he brings to any league. I think Spurs will be a lot stronger next season. However, if Jose Mourinho is able to get a few of his type of players, then we can see Spurs team that will be very much difficult to play against next season. Whether the club will grant his wish still remains uncertain and only time will tell.
We can already see the effect of Jose Mourinho and what he brings to a team, as was able to take a struggling Spurs back up and in contention for the top 4 spots, just barely months in charge as the new manager of the team. you can now imagine what the team can be next season when he has fully settled in the club and he gets the players he wants. A lot of excitements next season.
