A Battle with Reverse Speed | Weekly Challenge

in hive-177682 •  5 years ago

Hello Splinterlands Fellas,

It is the very first time that I'm sharing my battle with the public. I wasn't aware that there is a challenge going on where we can share our battle in a presentable way to win updoot. I thought let's try for the sake of fun. So,

⚔️This is my entry to Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challange⚔️

CHALLENGE THEME: REVERSE SPEED

Normally, we prefer to choose high-speed monsters to win the battle this is why this rule has made you clear that you have to choose low-speed monsters so they can attack first if you want to enhance the chance of winning streak. In short, prefer to choose 1-speed monsters first.

My ENTRY

I got the Super Sneak & Reverse Speed ruleset based battle that means I need to look at both rulesets while choosing the team with 31 Mana cap.

I mostly prefer to use the Water team as my deck is having only four teams so the water is one of the best amongst the rest of the splinters when it comes to Reverse Speed rule. Although, the players loved to use Earth or Life splinter. Honestly speaking, it all depends on your deck that what team suits the best in certain rulesets.

Why I Choose this Lineup?

I always think of Water Summoners when it comes to Reverse Speed Ruleset. I don't have Alric this is why I'm using LVL 4 Untamed Water Bortus to summons the monsters while playing. Bortus gives -1 magic attack to all enemy magic attack monsters. Though it didn't impact much on the opponent's monsters as the other team had only 1 monster with a magic attack that was Divine Healer.

The first monster I choose Sea Monster for the sake of its healing ability as a Melee. I had 31 Mana cap battle so I was able to choose high mana monster as a melee which couldn't die easily. It also worked good in reverse speed rule in the low league battles. It has 3 speeds at level 5 which isn't bad at all for this ruleset. So, I'm happy to have this monster as a melee which makes me able to win this battle.

I always prefer to put 0 mana Furious Chicken right after a melee in such rules where I doubted that maybe opponents use Ruler of the sea leg card so this can take the damage rather than any other monster. This chicken helps a lot to lose one opponents' attack in order to save Mana occupied monsters. Sadly, my opponent didn't use any leg card which has blast ability.

In the third position, I used Crustacean King to heal the tank to make the melee alive till the end of battle. It also has 1 speed so it can perform better in this rule. It really does both tasks efficiently, one is healing and the other is attacking the enemy's monsters with only 3 mana cap.
In the fourth position, I used Ruler of The Sea legendary card for its blast ability to speed up the game. Magic attack always wonders but the Blast one is epically amazing to enhance the winning chance. Though it has 3 speed so this monster performed on its turn.
In the fifth position, I used Cyclops from neutral monsters due to its 1-speed. I had level 3 Cyclops and it is really good in reverse ruleset with armor. I will upgrade this neutral card soon to get more exposure in the battle. I always keep in mind this monster while having this rule.
In the very last position, I prefer to use Spineback Turtle by keeping the Super Sneak ruleset in mind. All melee monsters always attack the last monster in Super Sneak rule this is why I used Thorn's ability monster so that the opponent's monster can also take damage while attacking. It can also attack the opponent's last monster as Spineback turtle belongs to a Melee family.

Is My Strategy Worked Out?

Oh yeah, my strategy has worked out in the Reverse Speed ruleset this is why I always try to use most of the 1-speed monster so they can attack first. I also prefer to put ROTS as well if I play with Water Splinter.

I always love the Reverse Speed Rule

Don't you think the result will be different if your opponent put a lvl 4 clay golem?
Still... Water team is the best team to defeat life team in several rulesets 😉 nice review and good luck with the contest!

Oh yes, that could be possible but still, ROTS makes the difference. Anyhow, I'll use a new strategy next time with Earth Splinter. Thanks for stopping by.. ;)
