During the time of protest, many black youth tend to overlook the truth behind the hidden history of racism. After all, emperialistic nostalgia is supposed to create a loss of respect for one's own history through respecting one's new position. The problem with that is that the new position in life sadly for many black youth involve "thug life," scandal, and the Lara Croft x Cruella Devine mentality in constant conflict with Know-it-all CantTellMe S#*! about their relationship. One thing about race is that it doesn't expire you from the high drama of the greedy and selfish. Hidden from the world is the true history of Black America. It's hard to prove some, but trust that families of the real black history have kept the truth available. The above article tells this story, and more of what history has hidden.
