Diary Game (16-11-2024) || "We are preparing the land for potatoes after paddy."

Assalamu Alaikum friends,
We have brought home the paddy of the land where we will grow potatoes (except the land where we will grow only seed potatoes). Even today, the first thing in the morning is to stack the rice flour in one place so that it is convenient to thresh from here. When I got up in the morning I walked for a while along the road near our house but it was not exercise because I had to work hard all day and physical work would be my exercise.

I went to the work of stacking our paddy along with my three brothers and a laborer we 5 of us worked continuously for 2.5 hours and finished the paddy work. My two elder brothers freshened up after having breakfast and took out the potatoes from the potato seed cold storage and went for free cooling. We stored our own seed for potatoes. This time the price of seed potatoes is very high.

My job now is to prepare the potato field. I went to the potato field to accompany a laborer and worked with him. I had already had lunch so I didn't have to break for food. When the workers went to have lunch, I continued working alone. We are cutting and leveling the aisles of potato fields. Continuous hoeing is very difficult work. We were scraping by between jobs.

My two brothers are returning from cold storage after 3 pm. They both brought spades to join us and the 4 of us started working at a faster pace this time. We have equalized land lots more than our target. We finished the work in the field today and went back home.

I went home and saw my nephew who is 2.5 years old picking up the paddy lying in our yard and stuffing it into sacks. I asked him who asked him to do this and his reply surprised me, he said that the chickens were spoiling the paddy so he was keeping them. I freshened up today I need to find some more laborers because tomorrow we will thresh dham marai for which we need 5 laborers. We went to the houses of some workers at night and asked them to come to our work for the next day. Finishing up today.
