In Nigeria, when it comes to food, Banga stew is everyone's favorite meal; today, I will be showing you all how I prepared my banga stew. Below are the cooking steps.

Step 1.

Firstly, I wash the palm fruits properly with water and put all the fruits into a clean pot; I add water to it and allow it to boil until it is soft.
Before doing this wash hands properly, very crucial.

Step 2.

I fetched out the cooked palm fruits and put in a mortar, and pound it till the husk tender. I fetch out the pounded fruit, put it into a bowl, and add hot water that is not too harsh on my skin. Then, I squeeze the palm fruit Liquid out of the kernel seeds. Then use a colander to sieve out the squeezed liquid into a clean pot.

Step 3.

After all that, I put the pot of the fruit's liquid on top of the gas cooker. In the process of the liquid boiling, I put my ingredients in the stew.

Ingredients used for the stew are;

Also, I cut my scent leaves when the stew is almost ready, and I pour the scent leaves into the pot of stew, which gives the stew a great aroma.
After that, I covered the pot, allowed the stew to be cooked for some time and become thick.

I also cooked rice that'll be served together with the delicious banga stew.
Wow! Banga stew was ready and served with rice, and that was how I prepared my Banga stew.
