Alhamdulillah, I consider this is my first time join and make a post in this community, ”Hind Whale Community”.

So that’s why let me introduce myself before I make a post to follow the contest in Steemit Engagement Challenge S6/W5 about my childhood dreams.

My name is Asiah @asiahaiss. I live in Lhokseumawe City, Aceh, Indonesia. I was graduated in one of university in Aceh. and my major is Mathematics.

One of my passion, besides zumba dance, badminton, swimming, jogging, play crosswords puzzle is writing. So that’s why I am over the moon of this adorable platform, Steemit.

At this moments, I would like to share concerning some of my childhood dreams and how did they come true in my life. Here we go...

To be honest, when I was a child, I extremely want to speak English well. I still remember at that time, when I was elementary school, I went to the modern market with my bestmate, a pretty girl.

We strolling around the modern market and we didn’t have much money to buy some accesories books, the sticky notes with blinking.

Yazz, I and my bestie stopped in one of booth accesories. We just look while pointing some of adorable sticky notes with our happy face in that booth accessories.

All of a sudden came the man & his daughter. They are not Indonesian. Sure, I knew by their skins and bodies. Perhaps American, Australian or some of them. They spoke English.

MasyaaAllah, I am a happy bunny to listen and looked at them, the man and his daughter speaking English at that time. Yep, the man want to bought a sticky notes for her daughter as her daughter request.

Suddenly the man realized about me and my bestie. He said something to me and my friend in English yet I didn’t understand it. At that time I only can said ”yes, no, thank you and I love you”.

When the man gave me some questions, I just said ”Yes Mister. Yes Mister”, With my happy face without understand anything. Ahaha... Yeah, I couldn’t speak English at that moments.

The man immediately gave & buy us the sticky notes. Alhamdulillah, we were a happy bunny at that time and just said, “Thank you, Mister... Thank you, Mister...”.

After that moments happened, I am falling in love with English till I wanna die. I couldn’t hold myself anymore. I talk and make a pinky promise with myself that, ”I want to study English hardly & consistently! I have to speak English ! I can speak English ! I must speak English fluently without stop to study every single day, every time & everywhere !"

And since I was a student in grade 3 in elementary school I study hard English in my class, my school, house, on the road when I was playing and so forth. I hit the books. That's how did my childhood dream come true.

My biggest dream when I was childhood is I want to speak English fluently or minimal I can build the communication or answer some questions from some people from abroad or overseas or tourist in this universe.

I collect and buy some English books. I took my elder sister's book from junior high school and senior high school. I read some newspaper which one had an English articles there. All about English on my mind at that time. I am dying for English, definitely.

For per day, I meant a day I try to memorize 5 vocabs in English when I was elementary school grade 3. And I improve my memorization concerning vocabs from 5 vocabs then 7, 10 until 20 vocabs per day consistently & commitment.

I talk to myself, to the mirror, wall, pillow, chicken, cats, birds and etcetera in English around me.

I read a lot of English books loudly when I was studying in my study room, living room and dining room. I watched a lot of English programs or movies also on television & YouTube.

Sometimes I talk to myself while memorize some vocabularies when I was walking on the small alleyway till my mom & some neighbours asked me, ”What happent with you ? What are you doing ? Are you ok ?”, And bla bla. A bunch of questions at that time till I grow up, senior high school.

I am over the moon of English till today

All the praise only for Yaa Rahim, I have comitted to consistent study English since I was a child, elementary school, junior high school, senior high school, university student and till right now.

And Alhamdulillah now I am feeling better. I meant I can speak English pretty well. Now my focus not only speaking, yet writing and listening also in English.

Due to the fact that Steemit, I had a plenty of progress about my English writing. Even I realized that my grammar not pretty good, yet I hit the books.

And yeah, sure. Alhamdulillah I can achieve my childhood dreams inasmuch as I study hard, commitment and consistently since I was a chill till right now.

And yeah, I never follow any course since I was a child until university student. I learn by myself and read a plenty of books plus watching a lot of things about English. Let’s say otodidac.

And my first time in my life follow English course in November 2018, I made decision to go to Kampung Inggris, Pare, Tulung Rejo, East Java to study & improve my English speaking. And for a month I just be a student.

Thereafter when the owner and my tutors now about my talents can speak English pretty well, they asked me to be a tutor or English teacher for English speaking in one of the course in Kampung Inggris, Pare, Tulung Rejo, East Java.

I have been an English teacher also in Yogyakarta and Pasuruan, Rembang, East Java. And yep, I had a bunch of students from Sabang till Marauke. Some of my students from abroad also such as Malaysia and Pattani, Thailand.

Alhamdulillah Yaa Mujiib ijabah / answer my du’a one by one. I really be grateful for everything in my life.

Honestly I have some of my biggest dreams also when I was a child such as I want to go to Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta and some big cities in my country, Indonesia. And Alhamdulillah yes, I did it.

I have another dreams childhood, I want to go and work in Netherland, Australia, German, Japan and some countries in this world, however I didn’t make it yet.

I wish someday I can achieve my childhood dreams to go around overseas.
