It is another great day. Waking up to see the wonderful sun is a gift. It is is only mornings like this that you can see and look at the sun in full without been blinded.
The wonders of creaton are amazing and great to gaze at meditatively.
It was the beginning of the day and I had so major activities to attend to. I have to do so effectively to reduce cost of transportation via fuel consumption. You know in my country, transportation is very expensive now. A litre of fuel goes for the value 4 steem at the current market price. So you can see that it is quite expensive.
So we all decided to leave the house at once. I dropped off my wife at her workout place and then took the children to school.
Around 8am, I had to go pick up my wife at the workout place to a school that asked for her assistance during their physical education hour.
We finally arrived there on time and the exercise period started. It was really fun. Both the children and the teachers were enjoying every moment of it.
Some other steemians also came around during that time and added flair to the whole activity.

A Child A Million Smile Project.
We immediately left the school at the end of the exercise program to get ready for the @worldsmile and @steemkidss food programme that have been running for more than 6 weeks.
This was initiated by both communities to help out needy school children with food either raw or cooked.
So today, we had an appointment with a school, hence we have to get ready since the agreed time was 11:30am.
To be candid, running this every week is not an easy thing both in terms of fund and steemians sacrificing their time and resources each week to support this programme. ButI am glad they do so
We were at the school at the agreed time. Some time was given so that they can tidy up what they were doing. The children were then gathered together and we started the distribution by around 9:00am.
The children that benefitted from this programme were about 100 and the joy shown on their faces tells it all.
It is not just about what was given to them, but that delight that comes from receiving something which you never expected. A surprise!
It thoroughly redefined and beautified their day.

The children treated us to some beautiful dance moves, such moments helps us appreciate the gift and beauty of having children around.
In fact, children are not supposed to be put under pressure or lack necessary basic needs. Once the basic needs are provided, they flourish naturally. Unfortunately, the sad reality is what we is obtainable.
Great thanks to both communities for putting smile on the children faces. Looking forward to another outing this week.
