"Pick a Word, Paint a Story #07"

In a long time ago, in a separate valley located in a small village, there lived a young girl named Emily who wanted to become an astronomer. Day by day she would look up at the stars and marvel at the lights that shone above her at night. In the meadow behind her house she often lay, day-dreaming of every story that was out among the stars.

One evening Emily was lying on her back fancying the sky and she saw the flight of a shooting star. With a smile on her face she closed the eyes and wished with all her heart. He wanted her to be able to go farther than stars and to travel across the whole universe. She soon will learn that the wish is about to be granted.

The very next morning, Emily wakes up and there on her night stand is a star shaped pendant glowing brightly . She grew more curious and as she tool the object in her hand a shiver ran through her whole body. All of the sudden she is being lifted up into the air and carried across an iridescent gate of light.

Emily thereby wakes up to find herself on a large silver ground, with stars stretching as far as the eyes could see. She knew she was in the middle of the cosmos, feeling stars and galaxies around her. Joy and awe rose in her chest at the sight before her at the alien beauty of the universe.

As she walked among the stars day and night, she came across an old, wise star who said to her words that although she did not know it yet she had been chosen to undertake a very special journey. Its inhabitants were to require her assistance in order to help bring order back into the universe and save it from the darkness that was to engulfs the universe.

Although such a task would ordinarily be an exciting thing for Emily, she was both nervous and exhilarated. By the advice of the senior star, she started traveling through the galaxies, meeting various planets and a host of other extraterrestrial characters of various forms in the process. She had to accepts leadership and skills and easily dominated the galaxies so that it could overpower the evil forces that aimed at disrupting the interstellar balance.

With every challenge of every galaxy she moves to, Emily becomes more and more strong and courageous. She found out that love and courage were the greatest forces that could counterbalance all kinds of evils in the universe.

Finally, she accomplished the mission and played many long, dangerous games, thus owning the balance in the universe. Stars twinkled more than ever and the universe was a happy place to be once again.

Feeling very much satisfied with what she was indicated to be waiting for in the stars, Emily went back to her own world. But she took with her the reflection that wherever she was she bear the stars which had illumined her wonderful journey.

And so Emily spent the rest of her days as an angel of stars, bringing the light and happiness to anyone she met, and never forgetting that she was the one who flies with swans and is a part of the bright fairy tale.
