Namaste Steem Family,
We would like to congratulate all the participants who participated in the first week of the Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 6 in our community, HindWhale. As a result of the statistics, we feel proud and pleased that we are only third to Steem Kids & Parents and Recreative Steem Communities with 115 submissions in terms of total submissions made by the participants.
There are no words that can adequately express our gratitude to each and every one of you who took the time to participate in and submit your engagement challenge posts to our community and we would like to thank you for it.
In addition, I would like to thank and appreciate each moderator for their tireless work in moderating and curating the submitted posts without bias and giving meaningful feedback to each of them. The fact that I am part of this team makes me feel very proud.
The topic for this week's writing challenge was "What outdoor games did you play as a child that aren't famous worldwide?".
The purpose of this challenge was to see what kind of games people played when they were kids. The added condition to this challenge was that the games that the authors share must not be famous worldwide and must only be known to their local population.
We wanted to know how the authors describe and share their experience of playing those games as a kid and how well they present their idea of the game to the world.
In general, we found many posts to be of excellent quality, but there were some which did not meet our expectations. The reason being a couple of authors share games that are quite well-known to the public worldwide, which we already mentioned in our post that such games must not be shared.
It is never easy to select the best posts from so many to recommend for the winning positions, so we chose our recommendations very carefully.
It should be noted that during the selection process, there were some articles that scored very high, but were not engaged with other entries as a result of this, they were not included. It was our hope that users would be able to participate in this engagement challenge and engage with other participants on their posts in order to achieve the maximum level of engagement.
Based on their interactions with other users and their performance on their challenge submissions, the following table shows the top three users ranked according to the quality of the post and their interactions with other users.

Reasons Why They Were Chosen |

1. Poorvik
There was a great deal of effort made by the author to share with us the local games from the area, as well as details about how the games were played in the local area. There were a total of six games that the author shared with us. They also discussed the ways in which these games were played by the kids and how much they enjoyed playing them. They also shared YouTube video links with us to let us know how the games are/were played.
2. Doriscermeno27
The author did not feel shy to show us how the games they mentioned in their article were played by demonstrating themselves using pictures. We really liked reading about the games they shared with us. We also loved to see the author enjoy the games again and how happy she was playing them for this challenge.
3. Saravanann
The author shared a good number of games that they played as a kid in their locality. Although a few games they shared are well-known, we could see that there are some twists due to local culture, and how kids make their own rules to play a game.
Conclusion
In this week's contest, many authors were able to write great posts, but as we are all aware, we only have three slots for the most outstanding posts, and we can only recommend the three best posts for further support.
My sincere appreciation goes out to each and every one of you for your enthusiastic participation and support in the first week.
