Greetings..


Today I am going to share a food dairy post with you. This is actually my first post for the @hindwhale community and I hope you will like it. Also, I am thankful to @jyoti-thelight for organizing this contest.

BREAKFAST


I chose Rice and curry for my breakfast today. To eat with rice, I fried small fish and made a Srilankan method coconut sambal.

Actually, this is a menu that many Sri Lankans like. Coconut sambal is made by grinding red chilli powder, pepper, onion, garlic, maldives fish and salt well.
A granite chili grinding stone or mortar can be used to grind. Then add scraped coconut and stir and add lime or tomato.

Regarding the nutrition of the menu, coconut is perfect with vitamins A, B, C, proteins, fats, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, zinc, selenium and manganese.

Many nutrients are also obtained from the ingredients added for this.

The type of rice I used is red rice.The manganese and phosphorus contained in it help to remove the bad LDL cholesterol that is accumulated in the body. I get my calcium from small fish.

After breakfast I added water melon to the food as fruit.


LUNCH


My choice for lunch was again a rice and curry menu.

The reason for that was that there was too much rice left over for breakfast.
As it is not good to waste food, I went for a lunch menu that also contains rice.

I chose dhal curry, moringa leaves and fish ambul thiyal for lunch. I take care to eat a healthy diet. Actually, as a mother, I always think about the nutrition of children.

Moringa leaves have a high percentage of Protein, Vitamin B6, Iron, Riboflavin (B2), Vitamin A and Magnesium, so I always make them.

After lunch I ate papaya as a fruit. I regularly add fruit to my diet to help with digestion.

EVENING SNACK

Today, my daughter wanted a snack for the evening tea time. I made an instant egg roti for that. For that I used wheat flour, eggs, carrots, cheese, salt and paper.

Prepare the rori like a pan cake and add carrots, egg, cheese, salt and papper on top of it. Then it was folded as shown in the photo.
Then it was eaten with ketchup.


DINNER

My choice for dinner was string hoppers. I usually don't make string hoppers at home but bring them from the restaurant. But recently My husband brought me the equipment needed to make string hoppers.

So I thought of making home made string hoppers today. I made dhal curry, boiled eggs and coconut sambal to eat with it.

Dinner was very tasty.
