Hello Diary,
As a teacher, getting to teach children is always very exciting for me. I have missed a lot of my pupils during the holiday. So getting to see my pupils and also meeting new kids made me excited.
I had already ironed out my clothes a day before and prepared everything that was needed for school for the whole week. I woke up feeling tired but I was already looking ahead of the day. I woke up pretty early and I said my prayers after studying the Bible. Did some house cleaning and prepared myself to get to work.
Like it is always said that the way one dresses is the way they are addressed, so I made sure that I dressed pretty good. I wore a white shirt with a red tie and black trouser...I felt very cool in it.
I arrived school really early, because I was in charge of welcoming the pupils for the week. So I needed to wear a great smile on my face too. The pupils react better to smiles thrown at them. They were quite happy that they had resumed school. And I welcomed all of them back to school. Soon the day's activities started in full. I teach mathematics in school, so I had to teach all classes for the day. My pupils love me and I also care for them a lot, I make sure they understand mathematics perfectly well.
During break time we had staff meeting to discuss how to make sure the pupils are well taken care of. It was at this time that a parent came in with a cake and some drinks. I was informed that a little girl had a birthday anniversary. So her mom came to celebrate her in school. It was really awesome. The child was prayed for and the happy birthday song was also sang for her...she was really happy. Prayers was also made for her and we all ate the cake and with the drinks too. It was a lovely moment for the little child. We quite enjoyed ourselves, I love eating cakes too.
I took some pictures of the little girl, I always try to make sure that these memories are saved up for them with my camera.

By 1:30pm, we were done with school and we made sure the pupils went home safely, but I stayed back to study for the next day. By 3pm I was hungry, so I made my way to get grilled chicken and plantain.
I ordered for two chicken pieces and plantain with a drink. The cost of everything was just 1000 naira which is an equivalent of 5.99 steems.
I love eating grilled chicken and plantain a lot, it is one of my favourite food. I went home to have a nap after eating and having a great time.
After the afternoon rest, I chatted with friends on social media and also did some voting and writing on steemit.
I slept early too in the night, so as to wake up early. I spent my day very well and I did have an enjoyable day too.
