It's a pleasure being here, and I am going to use this opportunity to participate in an interested topic I came across here in hindwhale community. Indeed, the two methods of acquiring knowledge are crucial in different perspective, and it really base on individual preference. One might be good and acquiring knowledge either by theory and practical, our capacity to learn and aquire knowledge are different.

Explain the difference between bookish knowledge and practical knowledge.

Well, as u said bookish knowledge and practical knowledge are two different approach for learning and understanding and both are crucial. Let's discuss about them.

Bookish knowledge as the name implies, it refers to knowledge gained from either books, lectures and other aspect related to boook or theory sources. It simply involves learning facts, theories through reading, listening or watching without having hand experience on a specific project.

Practical knowledge on the other hand, means knowledge gained through real world experience. This type of knowledge involves hands learning and experimentation and mostly leads to a deep understanding of how things work and how to apply that knowledge in different situations.

Which knowledge (bookish knowledge and practical knowledge ) has more impact in our life?

I can't really point any among the two to have more impact on one life as both are crucial, Both types of knowledge are important in their own ways, it depending on the context. Below
are some of my reason why each type of knowledge are important.

Remember Bookish knowledge as we earlier highlighted is a type of knowledge that provides us with a foundation of knowledge that helps us understand the world and make informed decisions. Sure as histories, philosophy and mathematics.

Practical knowledge on the other hand is crucial in fields where hands on experience is key, example engineering, medicine or the trading. In these aspect,the ability to apply knowledge in real world situations is important to succeed.

it's a balance between the two types of knowledge that leads to a proper understanding of how things works . Learning how to use both bookish and practical knowledge is important for developing critical thinking and problem solving skills, which are important in many in all areas of our life. 🥰

What kind of knowledge does a person gain experience from?

"Experience is the best teacher" as the sentence is mostly familiar to all , it is mostly kolike when it comes to gaining practical knowledge or what is mostly referred to "know-how" (Knowledge). This type of knowledge comes from hand learning and experiment. Below some ways in which experience can lead to practical know how.

• Trying out new skills. This is by practicing a skill and repeating them example, cooking, playing an instrument, coding, dancing etc. with this one can become expert in his or her special field.

• Trial and error. This is by making mistakes and learning from our mistakes, one can develop problem solving skills and creative thinking, it is a nice practice👌.

Does practical knowledge bring us face to face with life experience? Express your views on this.

Yes sure, practical knowledge are mostly based to real life experience, because it is again gained through hand leearning and and likely exposed to real life situation. Below are are two ways in which practical knowleddge brings us face to face with life experience.

• Real life exposure and experience. this happens through working on a project, volunteering job/work, with this one can gain first hand knowledge of how they works and interact with others in a realworld.

• Adaptability. It is not new the the more we encounter new situations and challenges, the more we develop the ability to adapt and develop a skill to solve problems, which are important way to navigate reallife experiences.

It's good to know the it's a balance idea between the two types of knowledge as it leads to a proper understanding of how things works . Learning how to use both bookish and practical knowledge is important for developing critical thinking and problem solving skills, which are important in many in all areas of our life, remember Bookish is the foundation to all skill while practical expose us to the real life experience. 🥰
