Good day steemians!

Teaching kids has already been my passion since I was young. I already feel the passion being with the kids when I was on my Grade 1 level maybe because of the personality I saw on my Pre-school teacher. She was so hardworking, energetic and you can see that she really love and enjoyed her profession. I can say that she has become my inspiration why I chose to become a teacher in the future.

And when I reach Grade 4, I now had an idea what major I wanted. My Grade 4 teacher really taught Mathematics well. That's why, on that stage I learned to love numbers. And when I graduated my secondary level, I am motivated to took up Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics.

On the year 2010, I finally got my Bachelor's Degree.

As of this moment, I am now 10 years serving my Alma Matter as a Math Teacher.

I am not that very expert in Math but I really love dealing with numbers. And I wanted to impart the knowledge I had to my students. And I always see to it that they will learn Math in easiest way and a lot of fun. So, I had to find varied strategies so that they will enjoy my lesson. And whenever they got confuse, I find other ways so that they will understand. Sometimes, I allow peer-tutorial because sometimes they will understand when their classmates will teach them.

Last month, we participated different Math activities. And I joined Digituro wherein I am going to make a video lesson.

And just this week, our master teacher announced that I am 3rd place during the Division level wherein there were 10 participants in that certain subject.

The process was so hassle, I had to make own lesson plan, then my script so that it would be easier for us to have our video shots, then the editing of video. Thanks to my partner who helped me in editing my output, and he was able to make it in 2 days only.

Few years ago, I also joined Strategic Intervention Material Contest wherein I also ranked on that certain category. I also had became a speaker once this year. And the experience was so memorable even I felt so frightened that time. The heart really beat very fast when I started to hold the microphone but at the middle of my speakership I was able to enjoy the stage and was able to let my participants share their experiences also about my topic.

My experience being a teacher this School Year is really a roller coaster, there were times that I made a wrong actions but at the end of the day I learn that certain experience and will never do it again. That is the most important in our journey, when we got mistake we should not be discouraged to continue our journey instead we will make it as stepping stone to be better next time.
