Today, I will participate in a beautiful contest by @jyoti-thelight mam of the Hindwhale community. The name of the contest is HWC contest #40: POWER UP & WIN - WEEK 31. I hope everyone likes my writing.

My wallet has earned Steem 149.831 and Steem power 2904.819. I will power up 149.00 Steem from here.

You must submit a thorough, screenshotted description of how you did it in order to be eligible.

Step 01:

First I log in my ID on the Steemit platform. Then, I enter my ID profile. Then, I click on Wallet. Click on Wallet and use the Posting Key.

Then I see 149.831 earned Steem in my ID Wallet. I will power up all my earned steem because I want to keep the club100 tag.

Step 03:

Then I click on the right corner of my acquired Steem. Then I see a text box. I click on the Power Up option in the text box. It is shown as a red block in the image below.

Then I see a text box called Convert to Steem power. Here, I enter my earned Steem 149.00 in the amount box and click on the power-up option. It is shown in the picture below.

Then I see a text box called Confirm transfer to vesting. I click the OK button without making any changes. Then I wait for some time. Sign in with my active key. It is shown in the picture below.

Then I go to my ID wallet and see that my earned has decreased to 0.831 and Steem power has increased to 3053.819. It is shown as a red block in the image below.

Write the importance of performing powerup.

Importance of power-up:

The importance of power-up Steemit platform is very important. Especially if you want to strengthen the ID, you need to power up. The stronger my ID, the stronger I will be on the Steemit platform. If my power up is high I can reward a good writer. This will increase engagement with other users on the Steemit platform.

Then club tag is very important in the Steemit platform. There are three club tags. One of the three tags Club5050, Club75, and Club100 should be placed. There are some rules for powering up to maintain the club tag. The club should be fixed by powering up according to that rule.

Then when the curator gives the upvote the club gives the upvote based on that. Here also upvote is given according to power-up calculation.
