Tell us something about what infection is

Infection is when the virus enters the body or bacteria and begins to fight the immune system; the immune system will be so weak that it can't fight disease because the infection has already damaged the body.

Infection is caused by a harmful agent called pathogens; when it enters your body and starts eating up your body, infection will develop.

Signs of infection
Some of the signs that you might see or experience when you have an infection include the following: pain while urinating, sore throat, itching of your private parts, and discharge of white substances.

Have you ever had an infection and how did you take care of yourself during that period? (Medication, isolation or hospitalization)

Infection is a general disease, so everyone has encountered one infection or the other.

The general one that most girls experience is yeast infection; yeast infection normally looks like block milk, and it is always white in color.

I once had a yeast infection last two years, and it was a bad thing. I was passing through a lot then because of the odor and how it stained my pants every time.

I treated myself through medication because I explained to my doctor what I was seeing in my private parts, and he gave me some medication.

Some of the drugs that I use to treat myself include penicillin; penicillin is a drug that is used to treat skin infections. Amoxicillin is used to treat bacteria, and lastly, fluconazole is used to treat yeast infections.

Tell us something about whether precautions like hand hygiene, masks, and isolation should be taken to avoid infection.

Some of the precautions that should be taken to avoid infection include hand hygiene, masks, and isolation, but the most effective one is hygiene because when you are always neat, the chances of getting an infection will be reduced; you can do that by keeping your environment clean.

Isolation: We can prevent infection from spreading to others by staying away from those people who have it, or we can keep those who have an infection in one particular place.

Health is wealth, so we should always take care of our body system.
