HWC contest #58: Food Diary Game - WEEK -7 by @neelofar (6/6/2024)

I made my sister some biryani early in the morning because she had a get-together function at school. I started cooking before dawn because I wanted her to have something delicious to share with her friends. The aroma of freshly made biryani filled the kitchen at seven in the morning. We carefully packed the biryani to keep it fresh before my sister left. She couldn't wait to show the others and bring it to school. Her smile rewarded the effort of getting up early. Doing something special for her felt fantastic.

My family's favorite meal is chicken daubokht, which I made for them. I took my time to ensure that the chicken was cooked and the salt and pepper had a great flavor. Everyone in the house became hungry as soon as they smelled the food. We all took a seat together to eat when it was done. Everyone was raving about how good the chicken dampokht was and how much they loved it. We became closer by sharing this beloved meal, which also gave lunch a unique flavor. Seeing my family content and pleased after the lunch was fantastic.

My uncle returned from a month long trip to Islamabad today. I made some rice for dinner.I took great care when cooking the supper since I wanted to make something unique and cozy. The house was filled with the aroma which made it seem cozy and welcoming. We gathered up on all the stories and happenings from the previous month as we were eating. It was good to spend a prepared lunch with him once more. Although it was a small gesture, making him some rice made the day feel very memorable.
