HWC Contest #75|| POWERUP & WIN WEEK 51 by @patjewell 1,700 SP & Dolphin no. 12!

Week after week, I receive invitations to participate in this powerup contest. Well, it was time to answer those invites and participate.

This time, I could not think of a better way than by catching my twelve dolphin! Yes, No. 12!

I’ve always told my staff, and now also Steemians, that setting personal milestones is crucial if you want to grow. It was right through my life that I discovered how they contributed to my success.

How can milestones help you on Steemit?

For many of us, the first milestone is to reach that 500 SP, then 1,000 SP, and next, that 5,000 SP that will give you your first dolphin.

Does it stop here? Nope, it doesn’t. Next, your milestone is your second dolphin, then your third, until you reach number ten. Well, I do have a surprise for you. This is not where it stops. You still count those dolphins after the big 50,000.

These milestones keep me goal-oriented, focused, committed, build my confidence, and yes, bring along a time to celebrate. It is not about joining the dolphin or orca club; they are my reward for my hard work and a validation of my commitment and my efforts.

What I love about these milestones on Steemit is the fact that they are achievable. You just have to continue posting good-quality and unique posts, vote and comment on the posts of your fellow Steemians, and keep on powering up.

Steemians will tell you that powerups assist with the growth of your account and increase the value of your vote. For me, it is my contribution to the Steemit platform and, in return, my milestones toward achieving long-term success.

Come on! Set those milestones and work hard at them.

I was so excited as I had 1,700 SP that I could power up.

If your math is good, you will see that I increased my SP from 58,546 331 to 60,247 810 by looking at my before and after images. YES! My powerup pushed me over 60,000 and with that, I've caught my twelve dolphin! Whoop whoop!

Look no further. There is no other platform like Steemit! It is up to you to make the most of it. Listen and learn! Yes, I am orca smart, and you can also be.
