Share how you celebrate Mother’s Day 2024:

The mother's day celebration is a celebration that is done on different dates in different countries or nations. As a Nigerian, I haven't gotten the opportunity to go out to other countries hence I will only talk about the celebration here in my dear country Nigeria.

Officially, the mother's Day Celebration here in Nigeria was celebrated on the 10th day of March 2024 though even here in Nigeria different churches have their different dates that they assigned to make the celebration.

So this time, the celebration which was slated for Sunday began with me calling and wishing my mother a very happy mother's day and also I was able to present a song to her since she wasn't close by for me to physically present her with a song.

So after our call, I prepared and then went to church where the main celebration was done. During the mass for the day, women were given more chances to make their presentation as it was their day.

There was many display by the mother's which got my attention that very day and it was really fun having such a celebration. So the church was quite lively because of all that the mother's did. After that, we moved to the next which is presentation of gifts.

I wasn't able to to gift my mother anything this year's mother's day because I'm not very close to her. But since I joined other mothers in the church where I stay to celebrate, I was able to contribute my quota for the celebration.

There was an offering to support the mother's and also a gift presentation for those whose children came with package gift for them. I wasn't able to present any because I didn't buy and then I gave a monetary gift in support for the mother's.

After the entire program, I went back home and then behold one of the mother's gave me a very big surprise i.e Sunday Rice and chicken. It was indeed a surprise package from one of my mother's in where I stay.

I wasn't too comfortable since I didn't present a physical gift to her but I have put that into record and I believe that in the next mother's day I will celebrate her more as she has celebrated me.
