Pickles

Pickles are one of the most popular dishes of our country. It is also known as a popular street food. Pickles are made by letting different fruits or vegetables dry in the sun and then combining a spice mixture with oil to turn the fruits into a pickle. Pickles come in a variety of flavors, including sour, sweet, and salty. This is an extremely old dish in our country. Fruits and vegetables are preserved by being turned into pickles, which can be eaten for a long time.

We have many memories associated with this food. In our country, different types of fruit pickles are prepared during different seasons. When mangoes are available during the summer, our mother and sister make a delicious mango pickle. Throughout my childhood, I witnessed my mother making mango pickle on numerous occasions. I feel a little happiness in my heart when my mother makes pickles; it seems like there is a pickle-making festival going on. In our country, pickled fruits such as olives and jujube are produced during the winter.

There is no match for pickles to enhance the taste of various dishes. In our country, pickles are eaten with rice and curries to make the food more tasty and enjoyable. When I was younger, I used to enjoy eating pickles with rice and dal. Pickles can be found in almost every kitchen, dining room, and food storage container in our country. Pickling is an ancient method of preserving food for a long time, which you will find in every home of our country.

A lot of pickles are sold in the street food shops of our country. Pickles of mango, olive, elderberry, chalta, tamarind are the most popular. Last year I went to Dinajpur trade fair. There I found a wonderful pickle store. I was quite surprised to see the variety of pickles in this store. Because I don't remember seeing such a variety of pickles. I took all of the pictures from that pickle shop in Dinajpur.

As "pickle* is a traditional food of our country, this food is available in roadside food stalls, food stalls located in fairs or restaurants. Pickles add a different dimension to the taste of our food, it gives us a different flavor and sensation experience. This dish, which is lovingly preserved in little glass jars or containers, is a combination of our emotions, love, and tradition.
