We grew up hearing a famous saying from our elders: "Parho gaay likho gaay toh bano gaay nawab, khelo gaay kudo gaay toh ho gaay kharab" which roughly translates to "if you'll play then you'll be wicked and if you study you'll be noble." This saying was quite popular yet incorrect and contrary to scientific findings and my personal experience as well.
It is commonly said strong mind equals a strong body but what actually happens is totally opposite, It was found the kids that spend more time outside in practical environment are the one's that learn the common human interactions and learn how to express themselves.
You see humans live in groups, the one that learn these values are the one that turn out to be most successful in all endeavors of live. If a parent is expecting their child to sit in the corner of a room and only study then are a purposefully trying to ruin the kids ability to socialize. No, I'm not saying to not force them to study, or let them play only, obtaining knowledge is one of the most important part. Study help in being prepared for the future from the written experiences of people from the past. But what if there was a way to combine study and playing.
There is a way for that but parent need to be more sincere and give more time to there children for that but eventually this phase would soon be over and you would ultimately be required to find a balance between both since the studies are meant to get harder with time. You need build a strong thirst for knowledge in your kid so as they grow old they stick to the habit of studying.
Since we know we can't strip the children off playing yet can't let them play too much we have to build a
compound habit in the child that if they study first only they would be allowed to play this could potentially build an amazing habit that would stick till the rest of their lives.
I really appreciate you read it till the very end, i will be glad if you share your thoughts below in replies.
