Assalam.o. Alaikum every one present here. Hope all of you are very good and enjoying a happy life.I am going to present my views related to kids extracurricular activities in this Hindwhale community #Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 16 - Week 4. I am much excited so let's take a start with excitement by sharing my thoughts about this contest.

How can extracurricular activities help children's physical and mental growth?

Extracurricular activities offer numerous benefits for children's physical and mental growth. Physically, they promote exercise, coordination and overall health. Mentally, they foster teamwork, leadership skills, stress relief and confidence-building. Additionally, they provide opportunities for social interaction, creativity and personal growth, contributing to a well-rounded development.

Do today's children like extracurricular activities, or are they forced to participate by their parents?

The relationship between children and extracurricular activities varies. While some children genuinely enjoy and actively seek out extracurricular opportunities, others may feel pressured or obligated to participate due to parental influence.

The prevalence of mobile phones and digital devices can indeed compete for children's time and attention potentially impacting their participation in extracurriculars.

However, it's important to note that extracurricular activities offer numerous benefits beyond digital engagement, including physical fitness, social interaction, skill development and personal growth. While parents may encourage their children to participate in these activities for their well-being, it's essential to strike a balance and allow children to explore their interests and passions independently.

Is extracurricular activity necessary for children?

Yes, extracurricular activities are indeed necessary for children as they play a crucial role in promoting both physical and mental health. These activities offer avenues for exercise, social interaction, skill development and personal growth contributing to a well-rounded development.

It's the responsibility of elders and parents to guide and support children in participating in various activities allowing them to grow and enjoy the benefits of these experiences.

It's another common factor that kids need extracurricular activities. Nowadays students have a lot of work at school which stresses them out. This pressure can lead to bad results. That is why extracurricular activities are important. They help students feel relax and have fun outside of schoolwork.

Which are the best extracurricular activities for today's children?

The best extracurricular activities for children today vary depending on their interests and talents. However, some popular options include sports such as soccer or basketball, creative activities like painting or music lessons, academic pursuits such as science clubs or debate teams, and community service projects. Ultimately, the key is to find activities that engage and inspire children while promoting their physical, mental, and social development.

Play involving physical activity helps the physical growth of the child. A child cannot concentrate only on studies for long so he has to engage in other activities. Other activities include cultural activities, drawing, swimming, skating or other activities that children like to play. Extracurricular activities make children confident. Good luck to you.

Extracurricular activities breaks the monotony of classroom learning. It is fun for students and makes them look forward to be in school.

I agree with you dear absolutely unless we teach children to work as a team they cannot learn new things or grow in society. If we want physical and mental growth of children, we have to provide them with extra activities.

I enjoyed reading your post on the topic and I second your views on the use of mobile phones and gadgets in children, it is indeed limiting time of children. I wanted to mention this important point in my blog but couldn't do so . Wish you all the best for the contest.
