Good morning to all steemians in this wonderful community, today I will be participating on a contest organized by @hindwale community, titled SEC-S16/W3 - "Who has the strongest influence on children? Father, mother, teacher, siblings, or friends? "
How does a father have a strong influence on children? |
---|
Children look to their fathers to lay down the rules and enforce them. They also look to their fathers to provide a feeling of security, both physical and emotional. Children want to make their fathers proud, and an involved father promotes, some roles below are the ways inwhich father have a strong influence on children
Boost Confidence
The emotional support provided by a father to his child is a priceless gift. By helping them to understand how much they are valued and loved, children with supportive fathers are more likely to have high self-esteem and are generally happier and more confident. They also demonstrate a greater tolerance for stress/frustration, less hesitation/fear in new situations and an increased ability to resist peer pressure and stand up for themselves.
Someone To Look Up To
Fathers provide a positive male role model for their children and help to promote/reinforce good behaviors. As a result, children with more involved fathers tend to have fewer behavioral and impulse control problems, longer attention spans and a higher level of sociability.
Provide A Different Perspective
Active parents with different approaches to parenting can be a great way to expose children to a broad range of thinking and problem-solving. Active fathers have a unique opportunity to share their perspective on life and teach their kids valuable life skills!
Feel The Love
It’s the most obvious thing to say, but that doesn’t make it any less important – having an active father makes a child feel loved! Having dad as a steady source of love and encouragement helps ensure that children grow up happy and healthy, with high self-esteem.
How does a mother have a strong influence on children? |
---|
Mothers are mostly known for their caring and understand but sometimes, they can be a little bit strict sometimes, that's why some kids get more closer to their mother more than their father, below are ways inwhich kids are influence by their mother
Mothers inspiration
Every mother, whether she is a stay-at-home , or a working mom, she puts in a lot of effort every day. The child will always observe and learn from what their mother is doing. To a child, a mother is like God.
Encourage
The mother will always encourage the kids on doing things that are right, things that are beneficiary to their life.
Setting up an Exampler Lifestyle
The mother will always do things to set up examples so that the children can always follow-up her steps, expecially living a life of a good Christian, the lifestyle is as followed
- Going to church (letting the children know their supreme being and how to worship him )
- Being a good citizens
- Life of giving
- Life of appreciate etc
Teaching the children moral values and the acceptable norms of the society
It's the duty of the mother to teach her kids values and norms that's acceptable to the society, she need to let the kids be aware of values that will make tgem live longer on earth the values are as followed
- Not stealing
- Not lying
- Whenever you see someone that is elder than you , you need to greet them
- Not insulting or abusing others
- Not keep malice with friends or anyone etc
How does the teacher have a strong influence on children? |
---|
Teachers served the same roles inwhich parents serve to their kids, but the teachers mostly focus on how to make the child to be successful in his or her academics .
Teachers who are able to inspire, support and provide appropriate care for their students certainly cause a great impact in their lives. For that to happen, it is important for teachers to have high professional and ethical standards.
And it's expected for teachers to be a mother or father so that they will understand the way on handling other people child, enabling them to use the same motherly and fatherly love, support, care for their child to other peoples children
How do siblings have a strong influence on children? |
---|
Healthy sibling relationships promote empathy, prosocial behavior and academic achievement. healthy sibling relationships can be an incredible source of support, unhealthy and toxic sibling relationships may be equally devastating and destabilizing.
First-born siblings engage in leadership, teaching, caregiving, and helping roles, whereas second- born siblings are more likely to imitate, follow, take on the role of learner, and elicit care and help.
The sibling relationship has the ability to uniquely shape a child's behavior, adjustment, and well-being, for better and worse.
How do friends have a strong influence on children? |
---|
PChildren are often easily influenced by others, especially their peers. As they grow and develop, they are constantly learning from their environment, including the people around them. Children may imitate the behavior, attitudes, and beliefs of their friends, classmates, or even media figures they admire.
Friends can help you celebrate good times and provide support during bad times. Friends prevent isolation and loneliness and give you a chance to offer needed companionship, too. Friends can also: Increase your sense of belonging and purpose,When your child has close friends, your child feels like they belong. Your child's friends care about your child, and this helps your child feel good about themselves. Friendships also help children develop important life skills like getting along with other people and sorting out conflicts and problems.
Conclusion |
---|
As I have mentioned students or children in this case, therefore, let me say friends influence choldren more because the children tend to value their friends more than their parents, mainly because; They can share anything and everything with their friends without the fear of being judged or punished.
