"Pick a Word, Paint a Story #05"

Greetings to the beautiful people of this community, compliments of the season. I trust you are all enjoying your festive periods.

And I'm grateful to the Almighty for making us all to see the last day in 2024, May His name alone be praised. I'm grateful for life especially.
And also I appreciate the organizer of this contest in the person of @senehasa, thank you ma'am for your consistency.

I am @tripple-e, please read me as I'm going to paint my story on RAIN.

The three words are:

Growing up as a child, whenever the clouds gathered and there's a change in the weather; unconsciously we will all start singing....

Rain rain
Go away
Come again another day
Little children wants to play
Rain rain go away 🤣🤣

Coupled with the childhood lies they told us that the sky was licking that's why water used to drop down. So that lie motivated us to always sing rain to go away.
Then I remembered one day when our neighbor's daughter came to play with me that immediately the weather changed and rain wanted to fall. Chai! I was so sad and frustrated that I went to my mum to complain that please she should help me tell those people up there to patch whatever is causing the water to drop down, then my mother just bursted out laughing and I didn't understand why she laughed. But she only pleaded with me not to cry that even if the sky licked it will stop that when it does I can continue with my play😜.

And did the rain listen to us?. Who are we to stop or interrupt nature's occurrences but we didn't actually care all we needed was a miracle for the rain to stop falling in order not to disrupt our activities. Because then all we knew about was to play, eat and sleep with zero worries. Nothing bothered us my darlings😀, we had people (our parents) who thought our thoughts for us.

BUT
To a farmer at that time, he/she was busy thanking the Almighty for causing the rain to fall on his crops so as to yield a bountiful harvest. (Different strokes for different folks).

This same me that sang rain rain go away is today wishing for even a rain drop especially in this dry season just to quench the heat from the sun and to water the land and make it cold.

My dear don't blame me too much, because life is in stages; when I was a child I spoke and reason as a child now I am all grown, there's a change in my thoughts, actions, mentality even character wise. This is to show that growth is taking place in me.

There's no living thing who do not need water(rain) to survive. Be it humans, plants and animals.
And the beautiful thing which I am ever grateful to the Almighty is that He cause this rain to fall on everybody's roof both the wicked, the good, and the bad people, no discrimination. And this shows His love, mercy and faithfulness towards mankind.
