What do you understand by the word Cricket? |

Cricket is a very popular sport in the world. Rather, I would say that cricket is not a game but a passion because people love cricket to the point of obsession. Initially, when cricket started, it was only test cricket, but now there are many formats of cricket.
And many types of cricket are being played. Cricket is not just a game, it is a separate world of emotions where the player feels the need to give his all. I myself am very fond of cricket and watch cricket matches with great interest.

Well, the national sport of Pakistan is hockey, but cricket is a very popular game in Pakistan. Cricket is played in every village and every street in Pakistan and people love cricket very much. So my father also used to play cricket at his school and college level and was a very good player, so my brothers were also very fond of cricket.
So in childhood I used to play cricket with my brothers and now it has been a long time since I played cricket. But I used to play cricket with my brothers and cousins during my school days. My brother also plays cricket and cricket is watched with great interest in our house. I watch Pakistan's World Cup matches and especially the match between Pakistan and India with great interest.

Cricket has been called a gentleman's game. The sportsmen's spirit in cricket is admirable. The way 11 players play for their country as one. All these things make cricket unique and, on the other hand, cricket also makes its fans sad. Many people watch this game very emotionally and cry when their favorite team loses.
It is said that in cricket you never know who will win until the last ball. Often we have seen that a team in an apparently strong position loses to a weaker team. What saddened me about cricket was the retirement of Shahid Afridi as he was my favorite player.

As I mentioned earlier, there have been a lot of changes in cricket. Now there is a trend of leagues in cricket. Every country in the world has its own leagues in which different international players play, so there is also a cricket league in Pakistan.
In what is called PSL, the famous teams of Pakistan Cricket League are Karachi Kings, Peshawar zalmi, Lahore qalandar, Queta Galidator and winner of psl 2024 Islamabad United. And BPL is a league of Bangladesh which has teams named after major cities in Bangladesh, like Cumilla Victorians, Durdanto Dhaka and Rang pur Rider.
