" Online Shopping Review".

Hello friends welcome to my blog.

Online shopping is an easy way of shopping on the internet from the comforts of your home, with no stress of going to the market. Online shopping has been made so easy that most times, your order comes to your doorpost, or you go to the company pick-up centre to pick it up.

Online shopping is open all around the day; all you need do is get online and search for all you want to add to your cart and purchase. Most times, sellers receive their payment on delivery, giving you the chance to see what you are buying physically before you make payment, while some pay before delivery. It's up to you to choose whatever mode you prefer.

There is no crowd or long queue in online shopping. Everything is done on your smartphone. You shop without pressure, taking your time to make choices by comparing prices with different sellers, and sometimes you are fortunate to stumble into sellers on promotions or discount sales.

Moreso, it allows buying from international sellers and not just within your region. Smaller sellers who could not afford a physical structure have also benefited from selling their products online. Giving buyers the option to get all that they want within the comfort of their home and a smartphone, which is a preferred choice for anyone.

However, I have used online shopping for lots of purchases that have been favourable to me. But, it is said that whatever has the advantage also has a disadvantage. It is now left for you to weigh which is more. The disadvantage helps you to be aware of how to make decisions on your online buying.

I once encountered an unpleasant experience on my online shopping, which was disappointing and annoying. My storyline happens to be that I ordered a radio for my dad from an online shop because I have never had any problems in my past shopping experiences, so I made my choice of the radio I wanted and made payment online and waited for the said date to receive it as usual.

On the said date of the arrival of my order, I received a call to come pick it up at their pick-up office. On getting there after the due process for collection, I was given a small pack, which I refused to agree was mine. So I opened it there and was shocked at what I saw; it was my order, but it was a very small radio, like a children's toy, very different, not matching their online images.

After much back and forth on changing it, I was asked to pay a fee for it to be returned, which meant incurring more cost plus some other complex procedure for returning it; I left with it, telling them how unsatisfied I was with their services.

Online shopping could be an easy way of shopping but most times it comes with challenges like mine but it made me more aware of paying attention to size and specification, asking more questions and getting a proper description of what I was ordering, checking other customers reviews to know if they had encountered any problem or look for there best review.

Most importantly, know their returning order policies in case the product does not match your order like mine. So you know if returning it will be a complex or easy one you can cope with. By being informed of their policies and doing a thorough check before purchasing online shopping challenges can be limited. That is the lesson I learnt from my unpleasant online shopping experience.

I invite @kinkyamie, @jenniferm and @arjinarahman to participate in this contest.
