Weekly Contest-Best Diary Game || Attending the Last Sunday Service of the Year.

Hello, Steemians from all over the world. Greetings to you all. I trust you all feel blessed and super fantastic. It's been a while here as I've been super busy. I wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year. I'll share with you all how I spent my day. Please read on.

MORNING
I woke up quite late this morning to prepare for church. When I checked the time it was 6:45 pm, that was when I woke up. And meanwhile, service starts by 7:30 am. I had barely an hour to prepare. What I was most grateful for was the fact that I was not gonna sing in choir today, if not, I wouldn't have met up with the time for rehearsal.

Having jumped from my bed, I quickly did the important things so I won't be too late for church. I placed my soup on the cooker while also brushing my teeth at the same time, so I actually multitasked. The soup was hot I brought it down and went on to search for a cloth to wear to church. There has not been Nepa light so I definitely wanted to wear a cloth that wouldn't need ironing. I had one in mind already, I went to my box and sought it out. Like I expected, it wasn't so rumpled, I try spraying it so any creases will be strengthened. Having done so, I was ready to take my bath.

And of course, I made sure not to take the whole day to bathe. I was fast about it.
After bathing, I got dressed, applied my oil perfume, put on my glasses and I was set. I was so proud of myself by the little time I used to get ready.
So I was out there on the road heading to church.

I got to the road and good enough, there was a waiting vehicle already, I boarded the bus and soon we were already mobile.
The place wasn't quite far, and so before 10 minutes, I alighted at my destination and walked down a little distance to church.
Well, though I woke up late, I was among the first to arrive in church quite early. I met about 3 people inside praying and I joined them .
After about 30 minutes of praying, our Search the Scriptures session started and from one thing to the other in an orderly manner till Service closed. I was quite happy at today's service and the sermon was really reviving and inspiring.

AFTERNOON
At the close of service, I met my friends and other members. We exchanged pleasantries. Some complimented my glasses which were new and added it fitted me well. Some noted how I dressed like a Yoruba and appeared quite different from other days. I didn't really plan that and didn't even spend time in my dressing but I unintentionally dressed like a Yoruba abi Hausa. Whatever the case.
I made sure to snap some beautiful pictures before leaving.

Then we boarded a taxi and I alighted at my junction and bade everyone farewell.
After which I trekked a little into my street and was home soon .
I got home and didn't waste time preparing what to eat because I was quite hungry.

I sat down and ate to my satisfaction. After eating, I decided to surf the internet and post my Sunday pictures on WhatsApp and Facebook.
I also got to reply to some messages from my friends.
The next thing I did was to pick up my violin and play a short Christmas song which I practiced yesterday. I made a video of it and posted it on my WhatsApp and Facebook.

I got some compliments, I also got some words from my tutor who didn't waste time to tell me to improve and loaded me with lots of assignments.

EVENING
At 4pm, I left everything else I was doing to read my books which were of utmost importance. Yeah very very important. My exams are in the first week of January so I've got a lot of topics to cover.

The material I was reading

I read for about 2 hours and it was getting dark. I had to use my phone to aid my vision since there was no light. I was contemplating how to manage my phone torchlight so I can still wake up to read at night with it. But lo and behold! Our light got restored. I was so excited that I let out a screen. Of course I wasn't the only one who screamed, I heard some screams in the neighborhood too. It has been about 3 days without light and it wasn't easy at all as this was quite unusual.
I quickly picked up my charger and plugged my phone to charge. In that same spirit, I prepared and took my dinner. After which, I decided to write about my day.
