Grandmother: my view, myself wk#32

Good morning my lovely steemians, feeling much happy to take on this lovely contest about our view. Much appreciation goes to @saintkelvin17 for setting this contest up with such a great topic to write on.

Grandmothers are lovely beings who serves as an epitome of wisdom, love, and support to us. Grandmothers are mothers of our parent or can also be one who are older than us with much impact to pass on. Grandmothers are lovely and mostly known as the most caring among the grannies, I will truly stick to that too because have really experienced huge love from my grandmother before her death.

Using the contest hints i will love to talk more about grandmothers and their simplicity

What do you understand by the word grandmother

Grandmothers are mothers of our parents who also traditionally are the ones who take of us from birth. Here in my state, the grandmothers are the ones to massage, pat, pamper the baby. They are truly to the best ones that understand the parent of the child and the baby, they seem to pamper grandchildren very well and try not to re inforce maltreatment. Grandmothers are godmothers that protects families spiritually and physically.

Is your grandmother still alive if no tell us what led to her death

Death is inevitable, there's a time to be born and a time to die too. My grandmother isn't alive but have been and experienced great life during her small stay with me. My grandmother being a strong and brave woman from birth suffered stroke during her 50s and got high blood pressure because of families issues at that time, she battled out with the sickness and scale through till she got old.
During the stroke incidence she suffered knee injury which led to her inability to work properly. She later had an accident injuring that particular spot which made her to sit on a wheelchair for long, life was tiring to her because she couldn't move out without being assisted.
Her prayer was to sleep and never wake rather than being of burden to their children. She sustained this situation for about 3years and finally gave up while sleeping at night.

Is there an old woman in your neighborhood tell us about her as well

Here in my neighborhood we don't have old women around but most times I pay visit to the village to say hello to people who also took care of me. Early this year we moved down there as a family to say a big thank you to them and also make them feel loved. This very woman was also a big granny to me, she also took it upon herself to take care of me when I went for holiday at age 13.
Grandmothers are lovely eventhough They're not mainly from your family but they pass on love, support, care and peace to younger ones.

Tell us the best advice you have received from an old woman

To say almost all of them have word of wisdom to share to the younger ones, they're filled with wise sayings and experiences that will guide anyone through life if you adhere to them. My life started with grandmothers around, I somehow live like them most times because their life seem cool and lovely.
They told me about insanity living my life the same way expecting different results, insanity here means living life in a negative way and expecting something positive. They told me if I really want to see better results in my life, I should try changing my activities and actions that I will truly see a big change. That alone serve as one of the best word of wisdom shared to me.

I will say a big shout out to the grandmothers out there, I truly love you all that passes on motivations and word of wisdom to younger ones. May God bles you all.
