Hello to all my beautiful steemian friends.

Today I want to include my participation in a very interesting Contest "My Favorite Food In Winter". organized by @abdullahw2 sir

What is your favourite food to enjoy in winter, and why?

I like every single thing which is not available in summer and is available only in winter.

Like jaggery, peanuts, rewadi, gajak, dry fruits, laddoos made with more dry fruits, sweet potatoes, and green vegetables like fenugreek, bathua, peas, mustard, spinach and maize bread etc.

It is very difficult for me to decide which of these I like the most.

(Different types of rewari, gajak and dryfruits available at my home in only winter season)

Is there a specific recipe or ingredient that makes it unique for you?

All winter special things are special because they are available only in winter. Peanuts are not available in summer. And dry fruits are harmful if eaten in summer.

Green vegetables, greens, maize bread, all these can be eaten only in winter, because all these are not available in the market in summer. And they taste very tasty.

In the winter season, we prepare many recipes by adding peas which are very tasty to eat. If we make rice by adding peas, it becomes very tasty.

When the peas are about to finish at the end of winter, I peel a lot of peas and store them in my freezer. So that they can be used in summer also. But after some days their taste changes a bit and they do not have the sweetness that is found in winter.

Similarly, dry fruit laddus and jaggery panjiri, all these things are hot in nature.
That is why they are eaten only in winter and there is a different pleasure in making all these things in winter and eating them with the family.

How your favorite food is prepared? Provide us a short overview .

To make my favorite food jaggery and sesame panjiri, first of all roast wheat flour with peeled peanuts, dry fruits and white sesame.
Then make jaggery syrup in a pan and add roasted wheat flour to the syrup and mix it. Add some ghee to it and mix it and freeze it in a plate. After that its pieces are cut and taken out like barfi.
This way this very tasty and healthy jaggery panjiri (burfi)is prepared.

If you were asked to share this food with some of your Steemian friends, who would it be and why?

If I get a chance to share my favorite recipe with my Steamian friends, then I would like to invite all my Steemian friends, but among those friends, first of all @abdullahw2 sir who has arranged this contact.😀

Then I would definitely like to invite some of my special friends like @sualeha @shiftitamanna @ulfatulrahmah @pathanapsana @m-fdo @ruthjoe @suboohi @dove11 @goodybest @jyoti-thelight @patjewell.
I love all these friends of mine.
They are all from different countries. I am from India and I would like to share all the good recipes of my India with different countries so that people abroad can also enjoy the taste of my good Indian recipes.

I respect all these friends of mine a lot.

So with a lot of love and respect I would like to invite them to my home to share my favorite food with hot coffee in winter season and have a lot of fun.

I hope you all will like my invitation.
