@emmaprince
Hello everyone, thanks @sahar78 for organizing this contest "sharing my general knowledge"
Laptop was first invented in which year?
The year laptop was first invented was 1981.
What is laptop?
Laptop is a portable computer small enough to use on your lap or carried easily from one place to another without stress.
Though when it was invented by Adam Osbome, the screen size, the weight and the features was not like today modern one which our technology as improve and make it easy.
Adam Osbome did what was good and available with the beautiful technology they had and it was lovely in their eyesight, everyone love and appreciate it. Some of the features then was:
1.Screen size was 5 inch
2.Weight was 11.1kg compared with the one
3.Two floppy drives
4.Bundled software
5.Modern port
6.Battery pack
7.Covered keyboard which was okay for them.
Thanks to technology of today, everything has improved to standard that we do have different features just to mention few like;
1.Dual screen laptop which can be used in different ways.
2.Artificial intelligence are now in built such as cocreator tool, copilot assistant etc.
3.Data storage amount which depends on the model and user configuration
4.Built in webcam and microphone in them
5.It also have feature that lets users quickly and easily transfer files between one device to another device etc.
Concept of near sightedness?
Nearsightedness (ophthalmology) eyesight abnormality resulting from the eye's faulty refractive ability,distant objects appear unclear.
Nearsightedness are often first noticed in school children because some can not read the blackboard but they can easily read books and it happens in aged children or teenagers.
Nearsightedness can not go away but it can be managed and there are so many ways one can tell if he or she have nearsightedness. Let me just mention few;
1.Eye strain for too long, maybe on phone or television screen.
2.Having Headache all the time
3.Objects that is faraway look unclear for him or her.
If one can see things clearly up close and they get unclear as they get farther away, he or she should manage it with corrective lenses or go for refractive surgery like lasik because of the experience I have seen.
My mother inlaw was feeling all the above I have just mention and the children carried her for check up and different hospitals and they couldn't handle it well but one of the doctors mention the following fruits should be given to her once a day and eggs, fish, leafy green vegetables everyday.
The fruits are;
1.Sweet potatoes
2.Carrots
3.Orange
4.Blueberries and today, the risk is reducing though she was due for surgery but the doctor said if they continue with more of the fruits and vegetables, God is helping out there will be no need for the surgery again.
Concept of far sightedness?
Far sightedness is abnormal condition in which ones vision for distant objects is better than for near objects.
This condition reduce one ability to focus on near objects that comes and this is caused by loss of elasticity of the crystalline lens after age 45.
This refractive error and it happen to children and adults too. Some children are far sighted but their vision is usually clear due to their eye are still growing because, as the eyes grow, the curvature of cornea increase and improves vision.
When a parent is far sighted, there is a greater tendency that the child can be farsighted but it is not guarantee. Though it can be controlled by using trial lenses but one need to be careful because when ones eyeball is too short, or by a cornea that is when farsighted starts.
Eating of healthy food and fruits can help to improve eyesight. Much intakes of fruit such as;
•Sweet potatoes
•Grapefruit
•Carrots
•Blueberries etc
Food such as
•Eggs
•Fish
•Spinach
•Bell peppers
•Cold water fish etc or one can use contact lenses to manage self.
