Hospital is an institution that is built and equipped with equipment for diagnosis of disease, treatment both medical and surgical, managing child birth as well as hospitality for those undergoing treatment. Hospital matters to people and it marks a central point in their lives. In other words, people go to the hospital when injured, sick in order to get treated.

Things We Can Find In The Hospitals

Hospitals are equipped with a lot of medical health care facility which aid treatment. Some medical health care facilities includes;

Birth Centers; A birth center is a healthcare facility for child birth. The sole aim is to create a good birth environment that feels more comfortable to the mother during and after the child delivery process.
Blood Banks; Blood banks allows donors to donate blood and platelets to Its recipients. It also stores and sort blood into components that can be used efficiently by patients.

Blood are classified into three; red blood cells, white blood cells and blood platelets. Red blood transports, white blood cells prevents diseases and blood platelets helps blood clot. Blood is essential for human life but it cannot be manufactured only donated. So therefore, this facilities helps to build the supply for patients who needs it.

Clinics; Clinic is a facility for diagnosis and treatment of outpatients. Many people go to a clinic for routine checkups. Clinics make treatment of patients efficient. The main role of clinics is to give people preventative care and important diagnosis with as much convenience as possible.

Surgical Facilities; Surgical facilities allows patients to receive surgical treatments.

Last Time I Went To The Hospital And Why?

The last time I went to the hospital was in the 2021. After my WAEC and NECO examination I became sick few days into the month of December. I wasn't able to walk so my parents took me to the hospital. On reaching the hospital, I was diagnosed and given treatments. To the glory of God I fully recovered first week of February 2022.

The Steemian I Will Choose As A Family Doctor

Since joining this platform, I have meet a lot of steemians. One of the steemians I will take as a family doctor is @uduak3287. This is because why studying together in secondary school, we both wanted to become medical doctors. He really loved the occupation. But today, we study medical related courses in the university. So I will love @uduak3287 to be my family doctor.
