The Mountain's Secret: Amani's Journey to the Heart of Kilimanjaro"

This tale revolves a prehistoric colossal structure reigning over the central portion of East Africa that has been legendary for harboring Africa tallest Mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. Kilimanjaro stands at about 19,341 feet and it has always been more of a sentinel of the land, one that watched as time and the natural world played out their drama.

Walking in the green green wonderful territory of the foothills, tucked in the sleeve of the giantess mountain, definitively was living the young girl called Amani. Its snowy state believed to be magical and mystical Amani grew up with the dream of one day climbing up the mountain. Her grandmother often spoke of Kilimanjaro’s three volcanic cones: Kibo, Mawenzi and Shira, all three hold historical and spiritual energies of different kinds.

Once upon a time early one morning a sweet Somali girl named Amani embarked out for the voyage of her dreams. According to the voice of the wind and the sounds of animals she strolled through the thickets of the tropical rainforests, met interesting elephants and admired the vivid waterfalls. The higher she flew the thinner the air became, the cooler grew the temperature. With each journey Amani encountered difficulties but she did not give up since she had the will power together with the hopes of the mountain.

It took Amani many days climbing up to as per reach the fabled Kibo Crater. The next morning this stunning scene enlightened the viewer—there was a sea of clouds in the valley and the rays of the rising sun hit the top of this mountain. Amani, suffused with tears of joy, found out that Kili was much more than a place, but rather an experience of a lifetime.

Sitting on Africa’s lap, Amani comprehend the role of the mountain; the ground, the roots and the spirit of the forefathers. And with a heart warming up from happiness and thankful feelings she started the way down, understanding that the main journey was not only to the peak but into her soul.
