How To Prepare Akara From Beans

Hi my follow steemians here in steem for Pakistan. Good day. How are your day going? It's me Glory Dickson, username @glodick Today I am here to participate in a recipe contest organized by @artist1111 . in Steem For Pakistan Community. The contest title is Season 10 -: Share Your Food diaries, Reviews, and Adventures! I'm here to show you guys how to prepare Akara.
Ingredients for preparing Akara ( bean cake)
Akara is one of the popular Nigerian breakfast foods which is made from beans. It's a morning food which it's good for both young and old. Akara (bean cake) can be served with hot tea, Pap (Akamu), custard or toast.
Here's a simple recipes use to prepare your delicious Akara;
‌beans
‌onion
‌fresh pepper
‌salt
‌vegetable oil for frying.
HOW TO PREPARE IT:
Soak your beans for some minute and peel the bean to remove the black-eyed peas and wash it with clean water

and add other ingredients like onions and peppers and blend it. After blending it,

knead the mixture for like 5 minutes until it's smooth and pliable and add a little water if needed to achieve a thick but pourable batter and

mix it with your well chopped onion, pepper and some salt to taste.
Pour your vegetables oil into frying pan and heat the oil for like 5 minute and add your blended beans mixture by using a spoon to drop small quantity of the batter

into a hot oil and fry it until it turns to golden brown and crispy.

Tips
‌Use blender to blend your beans for a smoother batter.
‌adjust the quantity of peppers to your desired level of spiciness
‌don't overcrowd the frying pan to prevent your Akara from sticking together.

Now your homemade Akara ( beans cake) is ready and you can be enjoyed with well prepare Pap (akamu), tea or custard
