The smallest animal in the world
Today I want to share my knowledge about some of the smallest animals in the world that I know, in this world there are many species of animals that are claimed to be the smallest animals in the world, some live in the sea and some also live on land, well here are the smallest animals in the world in my version.
Pygmy Marmoset, this animal has a body and tail length of only about 289 mm. This animal is included in the dwarf monkey family because of its very small size.
Dome honey hummingbird, this animal has a body length of about 5-6 cm and weighs about 1.6-2 grams, this animal is also one of the exception birds in the world.
Paedocypris fish, this is one type of fish that can live in extreme drought conditions, this fish only has a body length of about 7.9 mm.
Those are the 3 smallest animals in the world that live on land, that can fly and that live in water in my version.
The largest animal in the world
Well, talking about the largest animal in the world that is still alive today is an animal that lives in water, precisely in the open sea located in the Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean and Southern Ocean.
The animal is the Blue Whale or commonly known as Balaenoptera musculus, the blue whale has a body length of up to 35 meters and weighs up to 181 tons.
That is the only largest animal in the world that is still alive today and is one of the protected animals.
King of fruits
Maybe for some people who live in other parts of the world have their own fruits that are considered the king of fruits. However, for Asians, especially Indonesia, what we consider the king of fruits is Durian Fruit.
Here are some reasons:
Durian is the favorite fruit of the king of the jungle, namely the tiger, durian fruit is also nicknamed the steak of fruit because durian fruit is very similar to the meat that tigers like to eat.
Durian has a strong distinctive taste and creamy flesh texture, making many people really like it.
The name durian itself is taken from the shape of its skin which is filled with sharp thorns.

What a fascinating read! I loved learning about the smallest animals in the world, especially the Pygmy Marmoset and the Dome Honey Hummingbird. It’s incredible how nature can create such tiny yet resilient creatures! The Paedocypris fish is also remarkable, especially given its ability to survive in extreme conditions.
On the flip side, the Blue Whale is truly a majestic giant of the ocean. It’s hard to believe such a massive creature can exist alongside these tiny animals!
And of course, I can’t agree more about the Durian being the king of fruits! Its unique taste and texture certainly set it apart from other fruits. Thank you for sharing these interesting facts about the natural world!
