The term that today I am going to share is not totally a new one and in our daily life we see many of the cases about it and specially if someone have a link to hospital in terms of any job so I am going to talk about paralysis.

There are two terms which seems to be very similar but their meanings are different and first term is paralysis and second term is prasis so paralysis is basically inability of a body segment to move and prasis is defined as just weakness in a part of body it can be upper limb or lower limb or any part of upper limb or any part of lower limb like right or left.
If we talk about reason of paralysis then it can be due to any disturbance in motor centre of brain and it can be due to stroke also which is just like a moderate or severe attack at brain and specially at motor parts of brain.
If we talk about types of paralysis then it can be of different types. If we talk about monoplagia then it is defined as paralysis of one part of any limb it can be right part of upper limb or right part of lower Lim or it can be left part of upper limb or left part of lower Limb.
Diplegia is defined as two parts of a limb and these can be two parts of upper limb or can be two parts of lower limb. If we talk about Hemiplegia then it is defined as half side of body and it can be right side of body or can be left side of body.

If we talk about tetraplegia then it is defined as paralysis of 4 parts of body and it involves both upper limbs and both lower limbs. So that was all about types of paralysis in accordance with their severity. Hopefully this post would be informative for all of you.
